I would like to note that USA doesn't have monolithic culture and norms. It might be that (for now) white anglo saxon protestant culture is narrowly thought of as dominant, but it is not the only one. In various diasporas, communities, temples, and enclaves people who are just as American practice follow their own ways while being protected by the all American umbrella of freedom of expression and freedom of religion (or lack of religion)

Unfortunately for OP this one of those limitations of K-1 where there is this grey zone of "too married" even for people who are not "legally" married.

Mostly questions about your relationship. They will go through Yes/No questions you answered on the I-485 form (criminal history, etc) They like to see finances intermingling, e.g. joint accounts, official things showing both names, etc. Expect it to be fairly low key and low pressure.

For the most part you can ignore VJ timeline. It is based solely on self reported data by other members, and while it can be handy to see certain trends over long time period it is woefully inadequate in predicting your own individual approval. Doubly so in the current times. Typically, currently, I-129F without RFE gets approved within 3-4 months though. That is not an indication it will be as fast or as slow 3 or 4 months from now. Get used to the idea you just need to wait, and hope for Embassies to start accepting applications again by the time I-129F gets approved.

Seeing how our AoS/Green Card was verbally approved today, I would say no. Explain reason for denial at the end of the form where they provide extra room.

You keep saying that, but it is not in fact "clear" at all as it listed as Immigrant visa on DOS website and Embassies website.

I am well aware that under the hood K-1 and K-3s are non-immigrant visas. What is less clear to me if how EO will be interpreted. Because I do not see clarity of it being non-immigrant. Logically it should be exempt for multiple reason, being non-immgrant is one, being very similar to spousal visa is another but in practice, I can easily see it being swept with other immigrant visas as there was no specific exception for it.

There is no specific exemption for K-1 visa. The logical thought process is that is it non-immigrant visa, and therefore this EO doesn't apply to them, except at pretty much EVERY Embassy I've seen it is listed under "immigrant visa" category. And unlike CR-1/IR-1 there is no specific exemption carved out for it, so it might be very much for interpretation by DOS/COs. Guess it is more wait and see.

    Re: K-1 visas

The EO signed today says (https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/proclamation-suspending-entry-immigrants-present-risk-u-s-labor-market-economic-recovery-following-covid-19-outbreak/😞
Everything after that goes on to state exceptions to the above.

I would also look at Presidential Proclamation 9983:
This says, for example with Nigeria (the other bans are worded the same exact way),
    Note the identical wording.

The Foreign Affairs Manual (FAM) is the document that defines the policies and procedures use by COs to (as one part) determine eligibility for visa.
    9 FAM 302.14-10(C)(1) says (https://fam.state.gov/FAM/09FAM/09FAM030214.html#M302_14_10_C_1😞)
Note that PP 9983 is the one quoted above.

Ergo, the logical conclusion is that K-1s are not impacted by this EO. The language used is identical. These are legal documents - words matter.

The translation doesn't have to be paid of. Self translated "original" seems to be perfectly fine. You do need to submit translation for the BC if it is not in English.

I'd just bring any additional evidence of finance co-mingling such as any new bank accounts opened, new lease, new insurance. Anything new from the time you both moved in together officially, also new photographs if you have them, any trips scheduled
