Hi all, the USCIS received my I-751 petition with supporting evidence in December 2020. As of August 5, 2021, I only received a receipt and a notice that tells me my biometrics appointment had been waived. 1. Does anyone know if the USCIS waives all interviews due to the pandemic? 2. Has anyone filing in December 2020 and residing in California received their 10-year green card? Thank you! 🙂

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had heard of any news on China-U.S. flights? When will the United States allow Chinese citizens on B1/2 tourist visas to enter the country again? How native was I haha. I thought part-time service members would only be considered “office staffers.” I thought I would be able to work as a part-time interpreter and translator in an office. It’s armed forces, so of course everyone who is NOT on active duty is considered a reservist.

I truly meant part-time. As in you go to work for the military once a month and two weeks in the summer (not to work in an office but to complete training drills). However, I have decided not to pursue this route.

I didn’t know if the people in this forum would understand what I-751 was. That’s why I posted in the forum for people who are removing conditions. Lastly, please delete your comment. I’d like to keep my thread clean and useful. Thank you.

Hi all. I am currently waiting for approval for my I-751 submission. If I serve in the U.S. military part-time, will I be awarded U.S.citizenship after a year of service OR will I become eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship? Thanks! I received my conditional green card in 2018. My U.S. citizen husband divorced me in 2020. We do not have children and we had a very ugly divorce. In this case, would me serving in the military actually hurt my I-751? Thanks!
