  1. Hey guys!  Quick Question

First, the good news! Husband had his interview last Tuesday and we were ACCEPTED! YAYAYAYAYYYY

He just received his visa in the mail from the courier. The passport/Visa,  a little package that has x-rays and vaccine reports and a USCIS Bundle. But, no sealed envelope? Is that outdated? Do they not do it anymore? Does he need anything for immigration at POE BESIDES his visa in his passport?

    Hoping everyone is well!

We got no physical mail during the whole process (except NOA1 and NOA2). The list of required docs for interview is on the NVC site: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/interview/interview-prepare/required-documents.html

Also schedule your medical ASAP. When my wife went for medical they told her they were going to be closed for a few weeks.

Noted! We're scheduling it first thing tomorrow. Thank you!

All my documents were accepted and I had a message left saying upload all W2s for 2017. I got a CC email right away. I uploaded my W2 for 2017 and it's still sitting in Submitted stage.

Did you get an email saying that now they will schedule your interview? Call NVC and confirm before you upload new documents over already accepted docs.

    My email said this:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received all of the fees, forms, and documents that are required prior to attending an immigrant visa interview at a U.S. Embassy/Consulate General overseas.

NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in AMSTERDAM, NETH to schedule an interview appointment for you. Once we have confirmed an interview date, we will send a notice to you, your petitioner and attorney (if applicable).

When logged into the CEAC, i noticed the new messages saying that all documents had been accepted and also a new message saying upload all W2s for 2017. I have not done anything on CEAC though, so all still says accepted, etc.. I will call them and verify.

    Yes! Congrats!

    Woohoo!!! Okay, now question:

We have a Case Complete! When I log on to the CEAC, everything says accepted. I check the messages. There are three new messages received. One saying that all documents have been accepted, and then 2 more making document specifications, like changing the passport and something about W-2s,....yet, all documents were accepted?  What's the best plan of action here?  Resubmit? Call?

    Has anybody had this happen?

    Horizontally pdf

So we had a couple checklist things for re-submission. They let us know in like 2-3 days of rejected items.  One of them was they gave us a note about the passport saying "right side up", but they ACCEPTED the document. So they left the comment but still the document was accepted (meanwhile i was thinking, this is very clearly right side up in my eyes). Therefore, I did not resubmit the passport to be sideways/horizontal as it was already accepted.

Now its been 7 business days since all documents have been resubmitted. No notes yet. I'm scared of them rejecting the passport the second time. *eek*

  6. Hey team! I've been scouring through the Wikis' and forums, but the search feature isn't the best on this site, so i apologize if this is a "silly" question.

I received Case Number late last evening. I logged on and paid invoices immediately. The Wiki and other sources are stating I need to file a DS-261, for choosing an agent or declaring myself an agent, etc. But I can't seem to find that form. Even on the CEAC, the header at the top, "Choice of Address & Agent", is not clickable. Do I need to fill out this form? Is there a delay on availability due to fee processing?
