Hello.
What if I'm unable to leave before my Visa expires due to possible NCoV 19 travel restrictions?"
I've already emailed the USCIS about my concern and they replied that they cannot extend the visa validity but they can renew it. All i have to do is to file a request letter and surrender my expired visa. And by renewing, I have to pay the Consular Fees again and might require to undergo medical, and resubmit expired documents.
my questions are,
1. Does it mean i have to go through the whole process again? (but i doubt it)
2. How long does it takes for this kind of procedure? Another 12 years? or just months? My petitioner is panicking about the situation actually.
I am a F11 Visa Holder with an expiry date of July 3, 2020.
Thank you for your help!My wife's immigrant visa will be expire next moth also this is very unusual situation.

Has anyone heard of whats the situation as of now? I know in September and October they were giving out visas same day or same week of interview for spouses but of late i am not hearing much. Maybe people are just not posting as much. Has anyone from travel ban countries interviewed in November for the first time? What has been the outcome?
My second interview were at late of november last month at us embassy in amman jordan, most of people from syria we have met at our first interview 18 month ago were there among them old people and young children which makes me wonder why! They were talking and sharing their stories many of them had hired an attorney but i didn't. I think after the congressional hearings things got resolved for old cases. And there were even new cases had their visas issued few days after their first interview. I hop things will reiman like that.

So happy my husbands visa was issued today! CR-1 visa from embassy in Madrid. (He is from Iran). We started the process in April 2018. So thankful he will be here to celebrate the holidays with my family and to get settled before our daughter comes in the Spring! God is good! Don’t give up hope. ❤️🙏🏻
Congrats. About the Same time as us i don't know if we should cry or laugh good years of our life are wasted to be able to reunify with our family.

A Syrian friend of mine recently did his interview for CR-1 visa in Amman embassy and he wasn't put in AP. They just told him they would need a couple of days to process the waiver and issue the visa. Don't worry I think your husband will get his passport back with the visa issued on it soon. Since at the embassy they never mentioned AP to you and they requested his passport I think you are good.
The new automatic waiver process has made things faster for people who are having their interviews recently.
Good luck and keep us updated.True (Y)

Thank you!! My husband called. They said we need to update the D-260 ASAP. We need to include a new affidavit. Any idea if we have to pay the fees for the new affidavit/sponsor?
for me they called and set new appointment for 2interview to bring new medical exam new police cert and valid passport. no new affidavit of support were requested. pls if someone here has gone throw this share his or her experience of what is next and how long is the average waiting time for the visa to be issued. because after all this complication it seems like tom&Jary game

Hi guys I need help!!!!
i am so worried.
my husband sent his new medical and police clearance two weeks ago since the embassy asked for it.
I just checked his case online and it says his case is expiring soon because we haven’t applied for his visa? We have been in administration processing for over a year due to the travel ban.
This is an screenshot of his case. I already called the embassy and emailed them but they don’t answer me anything.

I watched the whole thing too, it was very interesting. I think the ban supporters have a strong point. They probably won't issue the no-ban-act.
Because it is clear that it is NOT a Muslim ban, all the citizens of the countries are being affected regardless of their religion. So, I really do think that treating it as a Muslim ban is not going to solve our problem. They should focus on having an effective short waiver system instead. and grant exceptions on a case to case basis, like children and older people.
That is just my opinion. And I am saying this because I imagine the Syrian government for example will not cooperate with the US government. What are your opinions? And please correct me if I am wrong.Your analysis make sense, as I also figured the same , but mentioning a large number of Congress in favor of no ban act gives some idea if its true. But I am sure that everything will be alright after my time pass 😂

For those of us who can't make it to the hearing on the muslim ban, here's the livestream link: https://judiciary.house.gov/legislation/hearings/oversight-trump-administration-s-muslim-ban
It'll be live at 10 am eastern time today (9/24)
I heard the whole hearing I think the pressure is on hop to see some changes or ban left. its mentioned that the state department and DHS has been working on accelerating the process of visa issuance since July. i noticed many people has their visa issued in the past two month.

My case is December 2017 interviewer. And i cant use now ceac. / changed to or on 10 September. I hope they issue me a visa waited for soo long
too bad now it takes years to process in most cases for the countries effected by the ban while it used to take days or weeks before, this is the fruit of the Islamist and islamophobia around the world this is the case in general but in my case. its another matter bad luck has been my partner in my whole lifee in wholesale & retail 😂
