I assume it meant 'legal' names such as maiden names and such instead of nicknames. Didn't think USCIS wanted to know Goofy (actual nickname of one of my friend) is the nickname for John Doe for example.

I email my fiance the letter of Intent and the G-325a and had her signed/filled that part out and send it over. Had one of my friend filled question #16 out. The thought didn't come in till after I send the petition. I hope this isn't going to affect anything. Cambodian isn't an option in Babel Fish and my Internet browser doesn't support it either. Hope the USCIS understands not all US Citizens can copy/paste all Non Roman alphabet.

I know the I-129F needs to be filled by the USC but what if the USC can't read or write in their fiance's native NON Roman alphabet such as Arabic, Chineese, Korean, etc etc etc? Can I have a friend fill that part out? Or does it have to be done by me? I have no clue how to write in Cambodia. I can proberly copy it if my friend writes it down for me but I'm sure I'll mess up in the address part as it's quite long.

Or can the forgein fiance fill that part out?

This may be a stupid question but I really don't know. I want to get a couple Certified copy of my US Passport I have on hand. Is this done by a court clerk? Do I need to fill out any other form and send my passport? I tried Googling it but didn't fine anything (mostly birth certificate, marrage, and so on but nothing on US Passport). I'm sure it's my lack of knowledge but please help me out.

Thanks for the tip guys. Found out after speaking speaking with her numberous times many business and even government facilities do misspell their addresses. Same with English translated newspaper. Their native alphabet isn't Roman letters so they are usually very understanding on these things and many can only read/write in their native alphabet. It would me like me trying to write down my address in Cambodia. Still, I'll follow up with the U.S. embassy phase once that arrived. Reguarding my address I already found a new place and note that address as where my fiancee will be staying. Everything else I'm positive I did correctly. Hanging in there and preparing for a long and frustrating process.

Hello everyone and Happy New Year. Love what you guys are doing on this site. I'm hoping someone will tell me I'm over reacting here but I'm a little concern after I have send my package to the Vermont office.

1) On the I-129F Petition, Part B, Question #14 "Address in the United States where your fiancé(e) intends to live."

Does it have to match my current address?

Reason being, I currently live with 3 other male room mates. The house is under my name but will be transfered over to one of my other room mate. Keep in mind I have already send the package and will most likely move in March of this year to a new address. My room mates will keep all mails addressed to me as expected so receiving the package is not a problem. Want to get my own place with my fiance for obvious reasons. I noted the new address of where my fiance intends to live. Is this going to cause a problem?

2) Misspelled her address overseas. She send me #House Number, Street Number, Sangkat Angre leu, Khan MeanChey but now realize it should of been: "#House Number, Street Number, Sangkat Chak Angre leu, Khan MeanChey"

I'm thinking this should not cause a problem for the process in the US but in Cambodia where she's at is where I'm concern about. Can this be corrected over there or do I need to redo the entire process? Or is there a way to correct this? Or is every embassy different with some giving the option to correct and such.

I'm assuming she's going to do her interview in the US embassy in Cambodia.

I put down Phnom Penh, Cambodia for obvious reasons again.

Little tense as I really do miss her. Was wondering if I should do the process all over again as correcting the mistake would take longer?
