I sent mine yesterday also and should get there by Saturday, it will be interesting to see if they move together regarding check cashing, NOA1.

I just sent my package today via Priority Mail, should get there on Saturday. Crossing fingers for a smooth journey but the comments above about not hearing anything since April really worries me. My GC expires on June 28.

Please if you are ok share the stokes interview details for the benefit of others who might be in the same situation, also what was the process after that.

We usually like to know the whole history trying to understand why things happen and the method for decisions making of different USCIS officers.

Thank you for your answers, in my case I deposit my paycheck on the separate account and from there pay cellphones, internet, cable, one of the cars and some groceries from time to time, no transfers between accounts as by the time I paid all money is gone. lol.

Of course, I intend tho explain that this account was kept for credit history purposes.

If they take the time then the adjudicator would see that all the transactions make sense as some times we even use one account or another to buy groceries at the same store.

I'm asking about it basically because if the joint account is the one they are looking for I don't want to distract them and create further questioning on the additional account which although legitimate can put a picky adjudicator into detective mode even for no reason.

I'm about to send my i-751 package and have a doubt, my wife and I have a joint bank account from where we pay the mortgage, insurances, kid's school and daily expenses, we also have debit cards for this account. Her paycheck from our small business goes to this account(she makes more money than me ). I have an account in my name only that I opened few moths before marriage and we decided to keep as this was my first account in USA and linked to my credit report. I deposit my paycheck from our small business (we work together) on this account and use it to pay cellphones, cable, internet, one of the cars and grocery from time to time. This account in under my name only, so the questions is:

Would it be a good idea just to send the statements (1 for every 3 months) for the joint account only or it would be good to send also the statements for the other account and explain the reason for having it and what we use it for?

I'm also sending the refinance closing statement for our home, in under my wife's name only since she had it long time ago but me as her husband had to sign as co-borrower so for me this is a good document to show shared liabilities, what's your opinion?

Hello Dear Friends,

I'm about to file my i-751 and would like to give you a little bit of history of my road so you can see the whole picture and advise.

My wife and I meet each other on Thanksgiving 2014 through a friend of mine and cousin of her while I was in the US for work, I used to have P1 visas and my Tourist B1/B2 visa at the same time. We started the long distance relationship with me visiting her every time I had the chance either on my work travels or as tourist and her coming to my country every 2 months or so (she is from my country also so she visited her family on the same trip). We had plans to get married and me coming to share our life together. While visiting her God gave us the blessing and we were expecting a baby!, she has a kid from her previous husband who passed away 2 year before we met. We decided to go ahead and got married, months later submitted the i-130, i-485, i-512 & i-765 and after 8 months we were having our AOS interview. The interview went really smooth, we had a really nice young officer that made a couple questions about our families, the relationship of my wife with my mother and some simple things. We start talking about my previous work as a musician and he even asked me for youtube links so he can see me playing (he confessed later that he is a music fan). He then asked me if we had any other evidence and our lawyer started handing over photos, bank statements and finally our daughter birth certificate...(she was born in the middle of the process) when he saw the birth certificate he smiled and said "This is your golden ticket!". Made me sign the conditional resident paper and said everything looks good and that he would do a final review and took us to the exit shaking hands an smiling. As expected and to my happiness 1 hour later I received the email confirming that my case was approved!!

Moving forward to now, time to file i-751 and I would like to share my package contents so you can give your opinion, here it goes.

5-Bussines Registration, she had this business since 2005, now I'm part of it with my name on the registration.

6-Professional Licenses for both, as the family business I already got the same license she has.

7-Joint Credit Card Statements, as before I also have a credit card under my name that I basically use to pay my hobbies, don't think I shroud include that.

8-Copy of our Business Debit Cards with the name of the company and our names.

9-Cars & Boat registration, we have 1 car and our boat under both names and 1 car under her name only

10-Copy of Cars & Boat insurance policies with both names

11-Copy of our Health insurance coverage and ID cards for 2016 & 2017

12-Copy of Life Insurances policies showing each other as beneficiaries

13-Copy of our home refinance closing statements showing me as co-borrower, she has been the owner since 2005 but refinanced last year and me as the husband had to sign, I'm not on the deed though.

14- Itineraries for 2 international travels as family plus one Disney Trip.

15-Copy of cars finance statements showing both names on one and her name on the next.

16-Copy of 2 years bills form electricity company showing both names

17-Documents from our daughter's childcare showing both names.

17-About 50 photos organized & printed 2 on each page with descriptions of place, date and people.

Thanks KULtoATL, thought about that also but due to the fact I'm sending Transcripts for 2015 & 2016 you know they get very picky and can issue an RFE requesting Transcripts for 2017 also. I have everything ready so I hope the wait will not affect or delay the case that much.

You have to be kidding, Tax Returns are one of the most powerful documents to prove comingling finances. A package without Tax returns is an RFE for sure.

Hello Dear Friends,

My situation is this:

I have to file i-751, my 90 days window start on Monday April 2 2018, I have all my documents ready only missing my 2017 Taxes which I'm filing now and Return Transcripts should be available in 2 to 3 weeks but I will say a month to be safe. I already have 2015 & 2016 Tax Transcripts with the package .

Should I send the package without the 2017 returns with the risk of getting an RFE asking for 2017 and the associated delay or should I wait for the 2017 return and send it within a 60 days window but reducing the risk of RFE.
