  1. Thank you SusieQQQ hope you don’t mind I shared your findings above ☝️ thanks for that helpful resource
  2. I looked into this as an option to send my MIL to Thailand for a weeks vacation but an immigration attorney I spoke to says it’s probably a waste of time and money since there wouldn’t be any reason to stay inThailand versus reasons to stay in the US. In other words, there is reason to stay in the US due to daughter being here
  3. I am investigating the same....here is a great post I just came across Vietnam looks like less than 30% refusal
  4. I got a stack of text messages late last night at about 11pm. Messages stating: I-485 Received I-765 Received I-131 Received Each text says a Receipt # and Official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) to follow in teh mail. I then added each receipt number to the Case Tracker App . The I-485 on case tracker says "Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case" The I-765 and the I-131 both say "....sent you the notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice" Not really sure if the instructions are an RFE or something else. I hope not an RFE
  5. The USCIS website under forms of you click the I-485 then the special instructions tab, you will read this: “Filing Forms I-765 and I-131 with Form I-485 If you are filing Form I-485 and pay the required fee (or already filed Form I-485 and paid the required fee on or after July 30, 2007), you do not have to pay an additional fee to also file a Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorizationand/or Form I-131, Application for Travel Document for advance parole. You may file these forms together.” Just the 1225 is all you need to file for K1 AOS
  6. Congratulations I just sent ours out today. Let the waiting begin again 🙂

  8. Thank you for the advice can you elaborate a little more on why using a hyphenated last name causes more problems? thank you
  9. Thanks Jason...I appreciate your advice to me about the P3 a while back as well

  11. I apologize..I had edited my post to say social security card...didnt mean green card. She is here on the K1...your example of Trump Marrie Ivanka is exactly what happened. Problem is that my fiance wants to hyphenate my last name to her Surname....I told her what happened with her name order and she was a bit upset...makes no difference to me but she wants it to say correct way
  12. looks like I will be joining here as well..currently gathering everything together. Since not a lot of posted questions or advice here, I sifted through all the posts on the February 2019 AOS filers thread and found some good things on there. Until this one gets going, it might help for anyone else here to check it out as well https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/696965-february-2019-aos-filers/ good luck
