I called the NVC and found out our petition was sent off to Sydney yesterday...cool. I don't have a DHL number but he told me I should be receiving a letter shortly. When I think about everything I will have to do before he comes I am like

Question:

My dear SO is moving out of his place with his roommate in about 3 weeks will his packet be transferred to his new mail address? I read somewhere that on here that they don't forward that type of mail. Not sure if that is true.

I really don't trust his roommate to forward his mail.

I called the NVC and dialed the automated line and it says they show no record of our petition, I also sent an email. Perhaps I will check again Friday.

That is weird he would be like that. Do you get your hair done? Maybe you should just get a good stylist therefore he won't ask you to wear a wig. Because nothing wrong with wearing natural hair but if it looks a mess and unkept then that might explain why he wants you to wear a wig and nothing with your hair being kinky.

I have a good stylist. If she can sew a $1000 Indian weave into my head, I'm confident she can put a relaxer in my hair. My husband doesn't want to see my hair, relaxed, twisted, kinky, or curly.

I have recieved some good advice. I think I'll put the wig on him. I'm beginning to see him very differently.

That is just weird that he would behave that way. I wish my SO would tell me some mess like that. Good luck with that

yayyyyyyyyyy for the NOA2 arriving in the mail...

I would give them a call on the Monday to see if they have received it...take a look at some one the K1er's timelines might give you a rough idea...

you also get a letter stating it has been forwarded to sydney...also take a look at the Australian embassey info at the top of this page it gives you all that is received in the packet 3 ..and what to send back...

and im sure you have enough evidence..dont forget the airline itenaries and ticket stubs for the flights..and your cell phone records...letter or emails .. cards that might of been sent for that special occasion..anything that shows you conversed regularly ...

Do VJ'ers check to see if your petition has been received and NVC or left NVC? Do you wait for the letter or wait 4 weeks to call?

Well I finally got the hardcopy of our NOA2 today It says wait 4 weeks to see if it has been sent to the consulate. I wonder if I should just wait till he gets his packet and see what documentation is required by Sydney before sending him stuff. I miss him terribly I hope we will have enough proof of a continuation of a relationship mainly we just have cell phone bills. Which for sure hurts my bank account.

I am sorry I havent been around. Times have been tough. I hope that everyone is doing well and that you are all moving fairly quickly!

yeah, i hope so, last night we got into an arguement and she tried to strangle me, she put her hands directly on my throat and i couldn't breath threatening that i would not walk out alive, i didn't know what to do,.....i want to just hit her to get her off me but at the same time i would've felt bad if i did. So i just eventually pushed her off me

Im so screwed,

Im going to have to do this as smooth as possible to get everything that i need without her knowing what im trying to do.

What would annoy me however is people on here then turning around and thinking that im doing this by fraud with what im about to do in gathering evidence without her knowing what im trying to do in order to build up my case against her.

Was talking to the hubby to be and shots was mentioned he said he does not have his shot records. Do you think he would have to take everything all over?

Sometimes I wonder if checking a site like this makes it worst. You first hand see people getting approvals and passing you by but if you didn't see the other approvals it would be easier to deal. Sort of a double edge sword. I don't believe that they are intentionally trying to mess with anyone or ruin their lives.. You just have to keep the faith. It will come.
