My fiance did not get a good quote on price from an agent. We plan on him coming here 6/8. I wonder does he have to enter through LAX? Can he come through San Fransico.

It means alot. I worked a convention yesterday and I was hurting from head to toe. I slept with an ice pack on my head! Good heavens. I don't think I have worked like that in a long time.

I asked Kevin about his interview he just said he was number 6. She asked him how did we met. Do we have a wedding date he said no but we have narrowed it down and I think that is about it. He said the interview was like 4 mins. He was quite shocked when she was like welcome to america. He was like "That's it" I think all in all his appointment was at 8 and he was done by 9:30. They are going to mail him his visa.

I think we both are just letting it all sink in!

I know he is going to miss Melbourne alot I am bracing for the homesickness. But I hope to keep him occupied with other things. If you catch my drift.

I so look forward to doing the little things with him.. having breakfast, going to the grocery store, going to the movies. And most importantly being his wife!

My darling Kevin was approved Can't believe this incredible hurdle has been jumped! Now I am just a few weeks away from holding my sweetheart. After a hard days work I did today was nice to get this phone call afterwards.

WOW Hampster you sure had an experience. I did not find LAX pleasant when I arrived there after leaving Australia and I had no immigration issues to deal with. I missed my connecting flight.

But 41 plus hours I would not have been able to do that. My trip to Australia was like 22 hours and when I arrived in Australia the lady in customs was so rude to me and offensive and I was so tired after that long trip to deal with that. She asked me if used drugs if my mother used drugs she went all through my bags. I had CD's for my boyfriend and she was like why do you have these CD's I don't see a CD player A man standing in line said hello to me and she saw that and later after I got away from her evil behind he said you know she came up to me and asked me if I knew you. I will never forget her name MARIA. I so wanted to curse her out!!!!!!!!! But I didn't want to get pulled aside for a body search. Till this day I don't know why she picked on me. I should have asked for a supervisor even her co-workers was looking at her like why is she bothering this woman.

I hope when my sweetie comes he does not have a welcoming into this country like I had into his. We are planing for him to come 6/8. We had planned on 5/26 but his family wants to throw him a party and they can't do it before that date.

This time last year I was sleeping with my sweetheart...I miss him.

My man is all ready for his appointment Monday. He is all nervous. I told him he would do great. I wish I could go with him.

My phrase is "shut up" "for real" "shut up". I usually say this when I am excited or find out about some exciting news. So, when he told me about a mutual friend having a baby I responded with "shut up". The phone was dead for a minute and I said are you still there? He said you told me to shut up and why did you say that to me? I could tell he was offended and I tried to explain. End result he didn't like it and was offended.

I'll try better next time.

Kevin's interview will be on 5/14/07 @ 8:00 am. That is the last day he saw me when I flew away from Melbourne. We are in the home stretch now. So hopefully he will be here in hot Texas by the end of the month.

I got it this afternoon and I love it, I will see if using it on a regular basis will help the shedding. My cat doesn't mind it but he tries to eat the fur that floats around. It is a messy job.. so use it where you can easily clean up.

Sweeties interview is Monday sucks he has to drive all the way to Melbourne but oh well what can you do. He is ready for the interview! My bank is dragging their XXX about sending me my letter so I guess I will get my tax return notorized and use my employment letter. I e-filed so there is really no where for me to sign it has for info only do not file in the signature line. I guess I can sign it and they can notorized my signature.

I have heard people mention a notorized tax return but on the instructions for the i-324 I don't see that is required just the affidavidit of support...

On the i-134 I have I don't see where it says tax return has to be notorized unless that is on the letter he received in the packet he received.

I just see that it asks for a bank letter verifiying when account opened and amount deposited, letter from job and salary paid and if self employed a copy of last tax returned filed. I only see that the affidavit needs to be notorized. I guess I need to ask my fiance. I filed online so everything is electronic you can print it out of course but not really sure why it needs to be notorized. I suppose I could print it out again and do that.

lol we both are not big into wedding planning. I wanted to elope but I think it would be a big selfish, I am my mother's only child she should see her child get married.

I am just glad I have a new job and it is going ok. I like it and I am starting to feel more comfortable. I am also working part time to save up some money.

First of all congrats to Jezz for her interview date.! Very good. And right around the corner!

Kath- Kev sent off for his interview I think thurs or Friday last week so we will see how that goes. His medical appointment is on 5/1 so I am kind of hoping it isn't as soon as Jezz.

We have decided for a beach wedding in South Padre Texas which is just a 5 hour drive from where I live. Depending on when he gets here i am thinking a July wedding... real small an intimate.

This is a great thread. Me and my fiance have been looking at tickets. I will also bring up the idea to him to check with an agent to compare prices.

I hated having a connecting flight throught LAX with 3 hours it should be enough. But the poster abover is right. Long lines and disinterested staff will drive you batty after being on a plane for 14 hours. I told my fiance to make sure he has plenty of time between his connecting flight once arriving in LAX. I didn't and I missed my flight. But the time I got to the gate after running it was taking off.

Good luck on your trip Hampster. I can't wait till I have an actual date till I see my sweetheart. It will be a year 5/7/07

Hampster- So sorry about your dog I can't even imagine being put in that position!

My sweetie sent off to get his interview so we will see how it goes. Other than that still trying to get my bank to get my letter right and I am also going to do over my affidavit because I did not put the correct income. And I also have a new job now so I rather just give him everything. I just feel bad I don't have much savings.

Work is work ya know??? It is an Ok spot I said I did not want to work with an office full of women again. And here I am again. LOL but everyone is nice. I work at a Law school. It is more money than what I was getting so that is a plus! I just miss my sweetie bear. And I know he is anxious to get out of W-town where going doing downtown is called "going down da road"

ya'll have gave me something to think about. I sent him a message. I think it is interview time! It should be about 2 to 3 weeks before he gets a packet 4 I would think.

Well not exactly I was interested in this one until I found out about the other one I interviewed for that was closer to home and WAY more money. I am working at a law school now. Everyone seems nice but again it was only 1 day. lol So who knows. But I am so happy to have SOMETHING. It pays a bit more and that is good.
