Hello mates!

I have been gone a minute but so much as happened and I have not had as much time to keep up. I think Kevin is enjoying it here. I have asked him a couple of times if he misses Australia and he says no...so I have to assume he is doing ok. I am so happy that he is here and I enjoy him being here. He has made my life much easier and happier. He is a good man.

We will be getting married on 7/14 on a beach in Galveston Tx here. We are being married by an British Reverand. Teehee. It is not going to be a fancy affair. Casual just a couple of friends watching us get married on a beach. This will be a 10 day planned wedding as we barely got cracking on it last week. We are determined to finish this out and have his AOS in the mail before 7/30 so we are cutting some corners and cutting it close.

My sweetie bear is here! He has been here a little over a week and it is going good. Seems like he was always here which is strange because he has never been to America or my place.

He helps me lots and lots and even brought me breakfast in bed this morning. A girl can get use to this for sure! I love him lots and lots and I am so happy that he is here with me!

I leave in an hour to pick up my sweetie...He was suppose to be here now but he missed his connecting flight and had to be put on a later flight. Apparently there was a long line at LAX. I still can't believe he is actually coming that he is in America! WOW. I was trying to look around and find something cute to wear but I didn't find anything. lol He has never seen me in spring/summer clothes so I know it is all new to him anyway.lol

Hey Everyone...

Long time no see.

I think this post will be a huge surprise to everyone, as it is still a huge surprise to Dave and me.

I just wanted to let everyone know so that you don't think we completely dropped off the face of the earth!

Dave and I have decided to call off the wedding and the relationship. It happened for reasons I do not wish to discuss here though. Dave and I are still on really good terms and are just taking every day as they come.

We just want to say thank you to everyone for the support you have given us through this silly process that we got all the way through! Arg!

I have been a cleaning fool!

Yesterday and today was marathon washing and it is still going on! I had to do some heavy duty shredding I had bills filled away from 1995 I also went out and got some new sheets and a new shower curtain. I think I want to paint my bathroom but I might wait, he may be bored while I am at work and need some things to do

I can't believe this Friday my sweetie bear will be here.

Kath-We still have not set a date yet. I think it will just be us two when we do get married, I would like to get married on a beach but we will see. Funds dictate everything. I just can't wait till he gets here. I simply adore him.

Girlfrmoz-I look forward to seeing your wedding dress! And I hope that you will enjoy SF also.

Congrats on your job KATH Are you going to check on the office job also? Working in retail is hard not the work but just dealing with people.

I can't believe Kevin will be here in a little over a week! It is so weird to be focused on the waiting and then have to direct your emotions elsewhere. I can't believe he will be with me all the time and we will never have to leave each other.

2007 is turning about to be very good so far.

Moonie - you know what Stewart did? He withdrew, using his ATM card, the maximum amount per day that he could for like a week (he didn't have THAT much)...that way there was no fee...

It was easy Might be the most recommended way to do it but it worked for us

I told him that. I was like just use your ATM card. I also told him that I could add him to my account or he can just use cash. It isnt like he will get here and be paying bills.

CHEESE- When he was just going on about it I was like you think a biscuit is a cookie! I told him our biscuit is close to what you would call a scone and then he was like ohhh it's still weird tho.

He is not a big vegemite eater but he is big on his pumpkin! When he told me he ate a pizza with pumpkin on it I was like I said you won't find that here.

He also wants to eat pancakes and ice cream for brekky ummm we are still in discussions about that.

MOONIE about the biscuts and gravy thing my australian man doesnt get it either...cuz biscuts are like cookies over there...hmmmm..he's actually mortified by the thought of it...hahaha ...but we've struck a couple of deals in this house..my daughter told him she'll try the vegemite if he'll try peanut butter and jelly together... and i also said i'll try vegemite if he trys the biscuts and gravy..yummo!!!! He of course feels like were getting the better of the deal but im not sure about that...

Yeah for Popeye's chicken! My fiance has a fear of Chicken and Biscuits. I told him he has to try it. He also keeps asking me about biscuits and gravy He thinks it looks gross but he keeps inquiring about it. I have never really eaten it before so I really can't tell him how it tastes. So that will be another thing we will have to try.

Fast food is every where! And I am a big fast food eater which is my downfall much easier to go to a drive through than go to the grocery store and actually "cook" something. lol

Aww they are so cute...I would like to get a playmate for Simba but he is SO BAD. A tip get some soft claws in a addition to the scratching post to help your furniture and floors look a little nicer. I learned that lesson a little to late and I have 2 holes in front of my bedroom door for when I would not let him into my room at night so he plucked the carpet up in front of my room! I wanted to KILL HIM. He can still pluck in that spot because he has already caused damage but he hasn't made any new spots. That is why he is still alive for now.

Trust I understand that. My sweetie has a high metabolism also. And I love ot get good good! I always said heaven would be me laying in bed and food being brought to me and I would eat and sleep and never gain a pound!

I love Chilli's also... their chicken enchailada soup is so GOOD. But luckily my husband to be is not a big eater so I doubt I will be chowing down like I normally would. I have 20 days to lose the 10 pounds I picked up while we were apart.

It is seriously so hard to be at home and not try american snacks and OMG they are good...those peanut butter cup thingys...mmm...my Jake loves them too and that is just one of the naughty things I have tried lately

..and you are so right Vylex about the restaurants...the food is so so good and I love Chilis. I think I have put on about 3kgs since I have been here and that's in a month....ikes!!! ....so I went walking last night and I will be doing the same tonight. It's really hard too cause Jake is big (I married a monster lol ) and being in the Army he works out everyday so he can eat anything...grrrrr...it's not fair

The lady in the vegie area of the supermarket gave me a baby pumpkin free to take home, bake and try (you americans call them squash). That is my dinner tonight cause I am off the junk food! Least pumpkin is low in calories...

My dear Kevin booked his flight and he will officially land in Houston at 4:46 pm on June 8th.

I have so much to do..he had a time getting a ticket I think he is flying with American. Prices were not as low as he would have liked but those are the breaks.

oh and i wanted to tell everyone..

we got the NOA2!!!!

yay!!

so i'm waiting for the medical centre to call me back to see if the results are in....

and jezz.... i'll ring them and ask them if i can go in on a sunday...... i'm sure they work sundays right? ;-)
