That's right. That or anytime after that date (before your current card expires of course).
Thanks so much!!! Praying for more approvals to come!

I received the "card production ordered" notice this evening!
Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Card production ordered.
On February 7, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
Here's hoping to approvals (and quickly!) for everyone!
Congarts!

This is what i got from another site: ***removed*** under fingerprinting: Once your fingerprints are taken,you can check with the FBI whether your background has been checked and your fingerprint report has been sent back to USCIS or not. FBI does not tell whether the fingerprints were rejected or whether they found anything negative about you.

Since your AOS has already been approved, you do have to file the AR-11 within 10 days, but your USC spouse does not have to file a change of address. That is what we were told at our interview - we specifically asked about it.
Mrs_S
I'm not sure about that, it contradicts the forms instructions that I've pasted below. I wouldn't be suprised if the adjucating officer was wrong, USCIS employees seem to be good at being wrong.
When Should I Use Form I-865?
If at any time in the past you completed a Form I-864,Affidavit of Support, to sponsor an immigrant, you are required to report your change of address within 30 days of the change if the sponsorship agreement is still in force.
The sponsorship agreement remains in force until the sponsored immigrant:
Becomes a U.S. citizen;
Can be credited with 40 quarters of work;
Departs the United States permanently and either formally abandons lawful permanent resident status (by filing Form I-407) or is formally held in a removal proceeding to have abandoned that status;
In a removal proceeding, loses the lawful permanent resident status that the sponsored immigrant obtained based on your Form I-864; or
Dies.
So,it means that I need to file an AR-11 which i can do online within 10 days & then my husband will file the 1-865 within 30 days? Can he do it online? If not where do we need to send it?
No, the I865 is not available for online filing at this time. The address of where to send it is on the form.
Thanks Miranda& James. So if we're planning to move by the end of the month,we should send in the forms already? Basically, we're just waiting for the card to come in the mail & we're ready to go. Can we do it when we're already in our new place?

Thanks for the replies. So, you mean, we will have to apply for change of address separately?
-
How soon should you notify the USCIS when you change address? See, my AOS has been approved & it is just what me & my husband is waiting because we both have a good job waiting for both of us in another state,so when should we file for a change of address? And also, my SSN is still under my maiden name with a notation that it is only valid for work with DHS authorization,could we change the SSN when we're already settled in our new place or should we do it before we relocate? Thanks so much!

When i had mine, my husband brought me to a Concentra Center as stated in the list of Civil Surgeons in MD, we payed $160,had some medical exams. My TD shot i went to the Public Health Center & got it for free.

there is no time limit in submitting the AOS application,as long as you get married within the 90 days window period. i myself submitted our AOS 3 days after my I-94 expired but didnt had any problems. but of course, the earlier the better.

Here it is, thanks to lal_brandow:
Confirming Prints received
1-304-625-2000
Select the option of Immigration on the auto-attendant, get a
switchboard operator, tell them you want to speak with someone
regarding immigration fingerprinting. A rep will answer and look
up your "A" number and confirm when/if prints were received and
returned.
Yup, I also called this morning to check on my fingerprint record if they have sent it back to USCIS (just for my peace of mind that nothing is missing in my file,that's why my case is still pending) & the rep told me,after giving her my A# & my complete name, that they received my fingerprint records the same day i had my biometrics appointment & they sent the record to USCIS that same day also.
Other number you can use to check with the FBI is 304-625-5590.

There are two people here on VJ that have timelines for Santa Ana in June 06. One has been approved and one is pending name check. I have been told that the posted timelines by USCIS are for employment based AOS. Cannot confirm or deny this as fact though.
t
i remember i had contacted the fbi department to see if my fingerprint check had gone thru and they said it went thru the very next day i got them done. i just dont want to travel with the travel docs again.... i got yelled at for bringing just one of the copies when i returned... they wanted both of them and claimed that it says it clearly on the instuction sheet that comes along with the travel docs.... thats BS coz when i got my travel docs in the mail, all that was in tehre were two copies of the doc., and nothing else....
So is it really ok to contact the FBI department to check if they have sent back your fingerprint report to the USCIS? I read this in some other immigration sites,but kind of hesitant to call.
-
Yup- I had the local congressman checking on my EAD and ....no EAD because they told her my visa has been approved! She says they just hav'nt updated any of the websites in a while and if we don't have it in our hands in 30 days then to call her and find it. Sweet! So my online status is the same but hoping it will be in the mail soon ! SO chins up- they must have come back from vacation!
Congratulations!!!!! You mean to say,some USCIS website haven't been updated for a while that's why some of us in the waiting limbo haven't heard any good news from them?????

Hey,Congratulations!!!! I hope I will be next to you to be approved. We have the same Local Office which is Baltimore,your timeline is just a week or so ahead of me. Im happy for you!
-
Well,in my opinion, I wouldn't dwell so much on processing times,because as stated in the USCIS web that they process cases in order they received it (meaning the dates when they received it, but i may be wrong also),but looks like it isn't what is happening (because some cases filed that are filed after got approved first). So,i think they do it randomly. BUt these are just my POV.
-
So,this just for couple living in Texas? I hope other district offices have the same kind of Rapid Adjustment.
