milimelo reacted to Hypnos in Rfe received for not meeting in 2 years
Withdraw and re-file after meeting again.
Your current I-129F stands zero chance of being approved.

milimelo reacted to Pinkrlion in Rfe received for not meeting in 2 years
You will need to plan a trip to revisit and then refile. It is an automatic denial for not meeting within the past two years. There is no way around this requirement to file K-1.

milimelo reacted to pushbrk in I will request an expedite for medical reasons. Question on legalization of the documents
Medical documents needing translation would seem to indicated they concern the foreigner. That's not a valid reason for expedite. However, there is no need to legalize medical documents as they are not official public records like birth and marriage certificates. Again, if these medical documents are about the foreign spouse, don't bother translating or requesting an expedite. Not only will the expedite request be denied but the request itself could result in a delay.

milimelo reacted to CEE53147 in Denied B-2 Visa
Power of attorney is required to allow others to act on your behalf in the USA. Check rules as you may need a US notary stamp to make life easier on the person you choose.

milimelo reacted to pushbrk in IR-1 sealed packet returned to hubby on POE, HELP!!!
The solution is to visit the nearest CBP station, take the packet with you and explain what happened. Same thing happened to me in 2006. The local station chief had seen this mistake before and knew what to do. In our case, we were a thousand miles from the POE before I knew we still had the packet.

milimelo reacted to acidrain in Any way to Expedite Processing for I-130..?
Can you be more specific? Is this a life or death situation?
Being separated from your family is not a valid reason to expedite.

milimelo got a reaction from Troggy in Changing my first and second name - at what point in the process is best?
Or, you can go as most people in the US do when they don’t like their first name: use middle name only and just use initial from first name.
Example: Patrick Allan doesn’t like Patrick so he goes by P Allan.

And you believe a room will be enough for your spouse as well?
Methinks your wife will drop you like a hot potato as soon as she has her green card in hand.

To be honest, surprised even one person can survive on that income in California.
Get a second job to raise your income so you can provide for the immigrant. They don’t live on air alone.
Have a a whole year or more until visa in hand so plenty of time to work on financial requirements.

milimelo reacted to NikLR in US husband wants to leave me a month before removal of conditions
I remember your story to get here. You can ROC with a divorce waiver. He cant make you leave. You'll be okay. I suggest you file for divorce though. It gives you leverage to be the one filing.
