  1. We filed my husband's N-400 in October of last year and received his interview date around January for February 12th. It was a combo interview because the Removal of Conditions was taking too long (got the 48-month extension letter) and he had already been eligible to file for citizenship for 6 months at that point so we got tired of waiting. I had to be present for the interview since they also checked our Removal of Conditions paperwork and asked me several questions about our marriage. Afterwards it was on to the Citizenship interview portion and they also asked him the questions about American history, which he passed. The lady doing our interview was very nice and helpful, and afterwards told us he was approved for both Removal of Conditions and Citizenship! We waited to be notified about the oath-taking ceremony and he received a letter to attend the big ceremony last week on March 27th, which we were excited about because it means I got to attend with him. It was a long ceremony but it was the perfect capstone to our long immigration journey together!
  2. Filed online yesterday at 10/05/2023 and got NOA right away. It gave me an estimate of 16 months but hopefully it's shorter than that like others have said. I also came from waiting for my husband's ROC which we filed all the way back on November 2021. We did a K-1 visa so he's been eligible to file for naturalization since June (the 3 year mark). I don't know if this help speed things along but at this point alll we can do is hope for the best while we wait.
  3. I ended up filing my husband's N-400 yesterday because this ROC is way overdue. Fingers crossed that it actually moves. The USCIS online page is giving me an estimate of 16 months for a case decision.
  4. Got my husband's 48-month extension letter in the mail today (April 11, 2023). The NOA date is for 4/5/2023. No movement yet on his I-751 as far as I can see. Like most people in this thread, he's already had his 3-year greencard anniversary but since we have a big trip to the Philippines planned for May-June we decided not to file N-400 yet. We'll probably end up filing it after we get back to the US and there's still no movement on his ROC.
  5. My husband has the 24-month extension letter, is a Philippine passport holder, and we'll be traveling to Manila this May. While in Manila, we'll be making a side trip to Saipan (Northern Marianas) and Guam for a few days each. Since both are US territories, his entrance should be treated as re-entering the US but I worry if the immigration officers over there will know what the extension letter is and if they'll give him a hard time. Does anyone here have experience going through those territories and know if there will be any problems?
