That does sound a bit promising, hopefully May. Who's timeline was it?
-
When I called several weeks ago I was told 2 to 4 months. Yesterdays version was 4 to 5 months. Maybe they're backed up

I called Montreal yesterday. I was told I was entered into thier system on Jan 25.
I asked would it be possible to get atleast some sort of time frame when my interview would be so I could make arrangements for travel
She told me " you are on the interview waiting list and could be scheduled 4 to 5 months from the 25 of Jan. We will notify you by mail for your scheduled appointment"
So the wait continues

Congrats Mephys. You might have it tommorrow

You should be able to see that info in reading people's timelines. Mine took 5 days weeks from NVC to Montreal for mine and I think then 4 days for packet 3 to come It's all listed in my timeline
5 days from NVC to Montreal
4 Days for packet 3
Entered into Montreal's system Jan 25 Now waiting

How true. So far we've experienced most of what you say in this process They are as rude and non caring at Montreal as USCIS personnell are on that check status # they have listed.
Must be part of the job qualifications in order to work at those places
Another thing would be:
Brush up on your classical music listening because you get to hear lots when you do call

Sorry if I left you confused even more. I forgot to put the K behind the DS- 156 form I still have with me
The duplicate forms I filled online and sent were the DS-156 sent with pics attached
The form I still have and bring unsigned on the interview day is the DS- 156K
And Mo states it would be wise to have copies of everything with you
-
When I sent my packet 3 back in Jan. I had to send the completed 230 form, the checklist along with duplicate DS-156 filled out online and include my 2 pics attached to each one of em.
The DS -156 is still here with me I bring that unsigned on my interview day they told me
Maybe they have changed things again because I was at the time of sending mine confused about the pics attachedor not
As previous to that time people were required to have 2 passport pics on the day of the interview .
I called and they told me send them attached as requested along with the other forms mentioned
I Hope this is of some help to you

When I sent my packet 3 back to Mtl in Jan I sent the pics attached . On a follow up e-mail I sent to them inquiring if 2 additional pics would be required at the interview I was told there would be no need to take 2 more pics for the interview as I already included them with everything else for packet 3

Hey good site thanks. I read for WA. it says need to present Social Security # as one of the regulations. Wonder if that means I'll need a job before I can get a drivers license.

Congrats to you

When I obtained mine in Nova Scotia I was required to show my drivers license and sign 2 forms one before the check and one after they got all the info.
