I've made many trips to Montreal over the yrs. to watch hockey games
The past 5 years I stayed at Tour Centre Ville on Rene' Levesque Blvd.
Only minutes from the US Consulate
Last time I stayed it was $97 but that was last yr. in March and was probably an off season rate.

Congrats , Happy everything went okay in Montreal

Great news. Hope it all gets worked out for you

USPS caused us a lot of unnecessary worry
it's all in our timeline
Canada Post is not much better It takes 10 days to get mail from Spokane WA to Sydney N.S. and 13 days on the return voyage lol
-
Congrats to both of you.
Happy all went well in Montreal

No, they're not on strike at present. The Union is threatening that a mail strike could be a possibility in the future. I was wondering if anyone else heard this in Canada
-
Hi all, I'm here visiting Lorry in WA. since Feb. I have my brother in-law checking my mail at home in N.S. for my interview letter
To-day in an email updating me on what mail I have he was saying there is talk of a possible upcoming Postal strike looming in Canada.
Has anyone else in Canada heard anything on this. Don't get much Canadian news issues here in WA.
Thanks Allie

Since I'm officially an April filer now I'm not calling or writting for a while yet. I hope everyone gets their date soon and I hope many new numbers become available soon also.

I think they should be complained about to whom ever thier supervisors are. As long as there is no feed back about thier ignorant attitudes they'll just continue on unknowingly to the powers that be
-
Thanks for the update. My timeline is very similar to yours. I sent another email to em this morning.
Hopefully it'll be something like they told you and May will be the time
-
There have been a couple of times I received nothing back after e-mailing them
I just sent a repeat till I got a reply.

I'm sure it'll all work out for you and your Wife, but it does suck having to wait longer because of someones ignorance
I'm also hoping that ignorant lady gets what's coming to her.
Good Luck

8 to 12 months What the hell. Everytime someone calls that place it's a different time frame
Last week when I called I was told 4 to 5 months The time before that I was told 2 to 4 months
I'm starting to wonder if any of em working there know exactly what the time frame is in Montreal
-
That's unacceptable for anyone in that position to act that way towards anyone. So much for professionalism.

in Canada

Hi all. I sent Montreal an e-mail last Fri. regarding an interview date
Since there was no reply I resent it this morning. They just sent back a reply
Unfortunately I am not able to give you an exact date, but your
appointment for an interview could possibly be
June or July
Thankyou
