Thanks for the response.  She never appeared in front of an immigration judge or in any courts.  The first I-485 was returned for the wrong fee so we sent the correct fee this time and then it was just returned for "Please provide a number proof and court documents from the IJ".  

I am confused as to what document I need to provide.

Hi Everyone.  I filed the Form I-485 for my mother in-law and it was sent back with the following information

Please provide a number proof and court documents from the IJ

Does anyone know what this means or what document is needed to satisfy this request?

there a website that I can find out the staus of a pending green card? It has been six months since the forms have been sent to immigration. Thanks.

We are filling out the G-325A Form. Is my wife (applying for the AOS) is she supposed to use her new her name or the one that she was born with? In the example form on this website, it uses her birth surname.

On the I-485 form, Part 3, section B, it asks to list your present husband/wife, all your sons and daughters. Does my new wife ( applying for the AOS) enter me in that section or is it supposed to be left blank?

I have 2 questions. The $1010 cost of the I-485 includes the application for the I-131?

After marrying my fiance, what forms am I suppose to fill out and send out? I currently see that I am only need to send the following:

I-864

I-765

To the following address

I have another question. Am I supposed to fill out the DS-156? My fiancee keeps insisting that I need to fill one out but as I read the questions, a lot of them don't pertain to me. Can someone clarify. Asid from the I-134, what other forms do I need to fill out.

It says in the I-134 application that I need a statement from an officer of a bank or other financial institution in which you have deposits giving the folllowing details regarding your account.

1. date account opened

2. total amount deposited past year

3. present balance.

My question is: Is this really necssary?

Is the sponsor supposed to fill out I-156 and I-156K or just the I-156?

Can someone help me with a couple of questions. I am currently in the process of mailing my fiance the necessary documents for her interview. In the step by step guide, it says that I need the following:

1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one).

2. Send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy.

For 1, I can't find my copy of the I-129 application. Is this going to be a caus for concern? and 2, Do I need to submit all the photos that I sent in the original I-129?

Thanks AJ1!! Another question. In the affidavit of support I -134, question 8 says to list the people who are wholly dependent or partially dependent, do I list my fiance or is strictly meant for people currently dependent upon you not including your fiance? Thanks.

I have a question on what happens next. The application was sent from the US consulate in Rio to my fiance and she has already seen the doctor that the consulate mandates. I am a little concerned as to what happens next and also why I haven't received anything letter from the consulate. Can someone enlighten me as to what needs to be done going forward. Thanks.

I recently lost my bag with all my documents in them and now I don't have any copies of my application. Is this going to be a problem? Does anyone know what I should do?

The USCIS website said it was approved on 3/29/07 and it is goinig to be sent to the consulate in Rio. How much longer from here?

I just checked the application of my finance application. It said that it was approved. What happens next? How much more time before the interview with the consulate?

Thanks FeatherB. I already have my fiance's photo and many photos of us together. In the instructions, I didn't see that it requeired my passport photo. I guess I need to read the instructions again. Thanks again!!

I am about to send out my application but my fiance just told me that I have to include a passport photo along with the application. Is this true?

Thanks everyone. Does anyone know how to save the G325-A form? Adobe doesn't allow me to save what I have completed.

I am currently starting to file my K-1 Visa and have a question regarding the G-325A form. Is it required that all 5 pages of this form be filled out. It's the same questions for all 5 forms.
