Congratulations! For me, it took exactly one week from the new card in production update. Mine was mailed Monday and got delivered today!

Interview 3/15, got an RFE that day without the officer telling us.
No RFE in mail for 25 days. Contacted Congresswoman and Lawyer who sent email inquiry to local USCIS office last week.
No email from either one .
Today, Case updated, new card in production .
    Thank the Lord!!
There was no RFE!!! It was an eerror. We are done with USCIS for at least 2 years! Good luck to all. W hat a complicated journey from K1 - > AOS. Did not even got EAD/AP approval yet.
Waiting for card now. How long will take ?

No, I think they're on about if Jakejon doesn't get his greencard before the two years of marriage passes, then they'd get their 10year, not the 2 year. Of course, I think they'd have to provide evidence of those two years all the same as ROC.

And in such case, even needing that extra evidence, you save the fee and the waiting time for ROC, which is LONG. I think it's not a bad outcome for those who are at saturated local offices.

Less focus on the wait and more on the weight?

I've put on a few pounds I think too, to be fair...

Yeah! It's absolutely no problem! I took a copy of my AOS NOA1 and marriage certificate as per advice of @JunkTardis who advised it's better to have it than not need it. In the end I wasn't asked for any documents or anything. They were happy with passport and flight ticket

Yes you can travel by air in the US. Just make sure you have a valid ID (your passport will be fine) that will allow you to get on the plane. My husband and I were in New York City when his I-94 expired and they had no issue. @jakejon recently flew to Portland from Las Vegas. Just be on the cautious side and take the NOA for your AOS. Better to have it with you and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Your case was some years ago. Things have changed a lot since then. Interviews were rare for K-1 AOS applicants. Now they are much more common. And it has nothing to do with evidence submitted or luck. It has everything to do with recent events.

Thanks for replying!! Yes crazy timing indeed!! I really would love to go that route, but I think I’m going to call USCIS to make sure we do the right thing. These things can be tricky. Thank you!!

Only AOS and EAD require biometrics, so I believe that's why only those two respective case numbers show up on the biometrics notice.

Yes you fill a form with your biographical information and the officer who will capture your fingerprints will use that information and enter it into the database. After that he or she will give that form back to you. That's how my appointment went. So I have that biographical form with me.
But if you were able to do the fingerprints and your picture was taken, then I don't think you should worry about anything else than they processing your case.

    Hey everyone!!

So, I haven't been checking the forums often because the processing time for my office in Denver, CO is 9 to 24.5 months and I'd rather find something to occupy my time than stay checking everyday and worrying (like I did with K1 lol) BUT THIS MORNING at 10:45 a.m., I got a text message saying my case was updated so I went to check my USCIS account and lo and behold, my interview was scheduled and they will mail the interview notice. Now this would have been very exciting news except my husband is in the military and he just got orders TODAY for his new base. Oh and we leave this weekend.... for MARYLAND
What would you do? Change your address and "possibly" be bumped down to the end of the queue for the next processing office you'd be transferred to? OR Stay here, let him go, have him fly in for the interview (which from reading is usually a month or so after the notice - usually) and let them know of the address change at the interview, hoping they understand because it's the military and we have no control over his move.
I'd love to hear some opinions, thanks!

    Edited to add:
AOS packet was sent December 22, 2018
    NOA1 dated December 31, 2018
Biometrics appt was January 24, 2019

Lol it's not that B2s arent liked....
Not saying any of you but it's just alot of the time ppl use the B2 fraudulently. Ie they bypass the legal way to enter the US to marry their partner by entering as a tourist and then adjust status knowing full and well their intentions were to get married in the first place and they get away with it.
That's not fair to the rest who've waited years to do it right. That's why B2'ers will usually get a side eye.
Of course you're welcome here! If you used your B2 with ill intentions though, just keep it to yourself😉

    Heya!

We are about to file our AOS packet in the next couple of days.

I just had a question for the supporting evidence for the affidavit of support.

Did you include 3 years of Tax returns (form 1040) AND W2's?
    Or just the W2's?

As I only took W2s to my interview and that seemed to be fine,

PS bring on AOS. Is anyone else dying to work? hahaha. (i'm a workaholic time off is hard for me)

You are able to track it via https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx. Select Immigrant visa and enter your case number. When it says "Ready", it has reached the embassy. NVC also emailed my fiance to let us know they sent it to the embassy.
