    A permanent resident is supposed to reside in the US permanently, not one month a year.  The clue is in the name.  Forget citizenship, your plan jeopardizes your permanent resident status.  Apply for a green card when you're ready to move to the US permanently.

    Are we looking at the same data?  I'm counting 59 entries, of which 42 have not received an interview yet.  How are most applicants nearing completion?

    Sounds like you're trying to justify an act of violence.  It doesn't matter if he was provoked, that's not a socially (and legally) acceptable way to behave.  But don't listen to me (and please don't hurt me) - tell it to the judge!
