Just called NVC AND WE GOT OUR CASE NUMBER!!!
 
and was told it should leave for Sydney in the next couple of days!! (fingers crossed)
 
I also requested to add my email (the beneficiary) to the file as per @IndigoFlowers advice thanks gurrrl

Oh cool! I'm in Melbourne the guy here charges $580  its days like these I wish I still lived in Sydney hahahaha i'd save on those interview flights too 
All the best for your medical and int! Let us know how you go! There's a few Aussies here waiting on the next steps so if we all get the same interview date I'll organize an Aussie VJ reunion and we can all go out for drinks and celebrate (fiance's can facetime in) haha!

Good morning guyssss!! So, i had to call my fiance like 100 times for him to wake up because another girl texted me that she was able to schedule her appointment soooooo... we finally schedule ( although are case is still "in Transit") 😛 

Our case is on its way to Sydney!  Got the email from NVC about an hour and a half ago.

I just posted my RFE back to USCIS!

I included a small 2 page section called "How we met" in our packet. Did you do that?

I have a problem. I enter my case number, code and I press submit, nothing is going on. 
'The code entered does not match the code displayed on the page' 
That message pops up when I press again.

Just having another "missing Sydney" moment hahah. My Fiance and I LOVE pancakes on the rocks!!! I acutally may make him do this with me in the next few weeks so I can pretend i'm there haha. Goodluck, hoping you get some good news soon!!!

So I vowed to call USCIS everyday since Aug 13th when I was informed I would be getting an RFE and finally today after talking to a tier 2 the infamous RFE has finally been mailed I received a txt and email shortly after stating the same thing. I must also let u all know in the txt they ent me there was a link to check case status on the website. However i went to myacountuscis.gov or whatever that sight is and the website still said my case was received....so then I went back to the txt they sent me and clicked on the link inside the txt and that one said they had sent out and RFE but the site with the 2 step verification still say received. I'm hoping to get the RFE by Saturday so I can get it mailed back to them.

Hey guys, just to update. So sorry to hear so many Janies haven't heard back yet  We;ve been busy collecting all the documents needed and working. Going to see my baby on Friday 😍NVC received our case 2 weeks after our NOA2 and our case was sent on the 21st and got to the consulate on Friday the 24th, we booked our interview yesterday the 25th since we have all our documents already. Interview will be on September 18th. 

For anyone considering calling in the last 15 minutes of the day, Angus is now on duty, and he answered right away.  😂
 
 

My fiancé called USCIS a few times today as he wanted to speak with a Supervisor but each time he was told due to the high volume of calls Tier 2 was not taking any calls and to call back later. Just a few minutes ago he tried again, with the same response, BUT Tier 1 advised we were APPROVED just this afternoon!!!!! I actually had him call back again and ask another Tier 1 if we were approved because I needed confirmation after so long of a wait. There was a light at the end of the tunnel after all.....just didn't know how long that tunnel was going to be and for me that was the hardest part of this part of the journey.

I just called and after a 10 minute hold I was able to talk to someone.  After I gave her my case # she then asked for my fiancee name and DOB and mine as well. I knew when she was asking that I had a case # I was so excited.  So hopefully you will have yours later today.

Nice to have another Australian couple in this thread! Maybe our fiances will have the same interview date haha!

I called the non immigrant number (603 334 0888) as of this morning 10am eastern time and they stated they have not received my case. a few hours ago i decided to call the immigrant line (603 334 0700) and they stated they had my case and assigned the cased number! i am not sure if it makes a difference but maybe worth calling both numbers?
