 hi guys im a july filer too (the 30th) how long it might take to get the ead to start to work? my case online says ready to be scheduled since september. are they processing july now ? thamk you in advance 

hello guys i filed for adjustment of status and ead card in july 30, i had my biometrics taken in september 4. i was just wondering if someone knows how long it takes to get the ead ? because it feels like its taking forever

I know plenty of people that did it without a lawyer. 

I think by residency she meant the green card and all the rest! I think the same, but she scared me by saying a lot of people got denied. I don’t think it’s true. 

THANKS for the responses guys we just got the case number today btw!! Another question my lawyer is telling me that to get the residence it will cost me another 4K, is that normal? She also said a lot of people are getting denied doinng by their own and if you get denied you must leave the country basically. What do you think?

Hello guys we got an rfe the 14 and im september 5 btw. They have asked for a letter of intent to marry. I wanted gently to ask if its fine to send just the letter with scanned signatures or you actually need any other proof beside the letter and wet signatures? We are stuck not knowing what to do our lawyer said a proof would be better but we do not have made any wedding plans or things like that. And also is that bad we are waiting this long to send the letter back? Anyone experienced the same rfe what did they do? thank you in advance

Hello everybody we got an rfe and they need us to send the letter of intentions . Is it fine just the letter as a proof scanned and both signed by us? Or do we need to add other proofs? Any responses would be so helpful, thanks in advance

Another September filer here (noa1 09/18) and seriously, I feel so stupid cause I thought they were still doing August applications and so I didn't check VJ for quite some time and I finally did it now and what I found out is crazy. Omg, I can't truly believe we're so close! I wasn't expecting NOA2 for at least the end of the month, more likely mid April. But I guess we're close. 

I don't know what to say. I will update y'all as soon as I know something. 

In the meantime, it's nice to read your comments and see I'm not the only one desperate for the infinite wait.

Hi thank you for your responses, I was really thinking on applying to a community college which its way less money than a state college. So basically the steps would be taking SAT for english and then applying for college? If I apply as an international student I can still unroll my courses ( and then adjust it in domestic after the green card) ? Im not sure about the program I was thinking nursing

Hello everyone, i know this is not specifically about the k1 visa. Im the beneficiary and I currently live in Italy. Once in the USA my idea was to start college so I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced it? What were the requirements to be accepted? Also how to convert my italian high school diploma? I would appreciate so much if there are people who can share their experiences.
