For August, I know it feels like things around the corner.
And it is almost, but to give you and everyone a brief look on how things are going.
 
Monthly situation;

So we do think June is way ahead of what it looks like especially the virgin numbers, but we do have in vj at least 30 people waiting their noa2s in June.
for July I do also believe we have more approvals than it appears, because there were dates that show no approval updated, yet we know people are getting  their noa2s. (we had lots of that today too!)
 
The latest date that barely touched in July is July 24
 
 However,we still have lots of early Julies waiting. So they still do have more to go. 
I personally expect the July overall to be done next week, and then one more week for July to have its fire.
And this would be the time for June to wrap up, so they can move to August. (my expected due date for August is second week of Feb. alllll fingers crossed)
 
In February USCIS is going to update their website, which will hopefully show "July 1 as of November 31" which would be the touch for Juners to start inquiries and them to move to August.
 
About NVC times
With some irregularities still occurring, NVC almost got back to its normal 2 weeks timeline.
If any delays again occur we will again start to track it!

Hey there! I love trying to be realistic so I don’t get hurt but I have faith you two will be together before August. We’re October filers & with the way things are going I’m hoping for my fiancé to have POE by the end of June/very early July. Especially if things continue going how they did last week !

June and July had a big update of case statuses yesterday.
They updated backdated approvals too. 
 
This is the details of work done in January (only updated cases)

I'm sure you can see how different it looks when they actually update things online!
We still have lots of cases (dates) that are not updated in the first part of June. 
But here are the latest view into every month!

The latest date they touched at the moment is July 14.
 
DISCLAIMER: Here on are my personal educated opinion.
 
Now my thoughts on this from watching how it flowed in the past is that hopefully they are going to change processing times to July 1 as of November 31. in order to let the June filers be able to officially start inquiries (I am really hoping of this even though I know it is not correct)
 
July is definitely going stronger than how April, May and June did. by having this much ahead with this many approvals in only 1 week didn't happen for a long time.
Please continue watching around carefully. For those in the September, please still do not put money on anything and watch for when and how August will start.
For everyone else, If I were you, before making firm plans I would watch for how things are going on 3 months ahead of you.
 
Even though there is improvement (looks like it) the improvement is not from a perfect place, this improvement still makes lots of July filers get to 200 days. And June filers are already 200+ days. NVC right now is taking about 40 days (although not for everyone). So when you are planning ahead keep all these in mind and calculate as if K1 will finish in 10-12 months.
 
Basically calculate the worst but hope for the best!! Because your positivity will keep you and your relationship healthy and happy!! But being realistic will save your sanity!

i initially wrote this in July but I realized here in August too with hitting 180s, we all are getting anxious.. so here goes my wishes  
 
I just want to see spirits up! Because we will need that till the end of this road (I know I do) I know it makes me feel better everyday (and sane and not yelling at my fiancé for stupid reasons that is not even his fault... good guy he is, enduring everything at the moment!) he reminds me everyday; "don't be in that forum if it stresses you, but it makes me happy to see you have an awesome support there"
 
So all my best wishes for June and july which will roll on finally and get to all of us ❤️

just wanted to add that yes july started later than even June but (we don't have enough data prove yet) but it also looks like it started stronger than June's first 2 weeks! June didn't see barely reach 100s in the first two weeks!
 
lets still keep it realistic but hopes up! Mouths also upwards: this is how it goes  
 
good luck in a full week (and well I don't want to be this evil but department of labor is kind of closed because of shutdown so let's hope uscis will be coming our way to fiancé and spouse visas!)

Lastly, the trend line for the average processing time of all cases received every considered day and approved within the next 204 days, as to 01/20/2018.
 
This time I have added some extra data in case you're interested (number of approved cases, number of received cases and percentage of approved cases (out of received)). As before, note that only updated cases could be considered.
 
As expected it's still too soon for a downward trend, but hopefully we'll start seeing some change by next month!
 
 

 
 

Guys stop believing in lawyers... 

Yup, we were tentatively scheduled to get married December 30th but my venue is really understanding of my situation and being flexible thus far with letting me move my dates since all I paid is the non-refundable deposit and nothing more. He initially wanted to stop working at one company because someone found out that he was doing the fiance visa process so they started cutting his hours. So he's working somewhere else at the moment but he doesn't really like what he's doing. However, he's gonna bear it out until it's time because he doesn't like jumping from job to job. The house he lives in is his so he doesn't pay rent it was built years ago and he's been living in it since he was a child so when his grandmother passed away he it became his so he doesn't pay rent.
 
My main concern other than our approval is the crime rate is spiking in his country so I worry more about his safety and livelihood every day. Not saying we don't have crime here in the US but there is obviously a lot harder to control so to speak.
 
I pray I hear something this week too although every week that passes is the same result. 

We all feel you.  Day 227; 32 weeks and 3 days; 7 months and 13 days...it hurts.  It hurts every second of everyday that we are not spending with our loved ones.  That is the process side.
 
Now look at the human side.  You have found love.  What is that love worth to you?  If you knew that this would take so long would you even consider not doing it?  I would wait 1000 years for two minutes with Rose as my wife.  Do not let the process impact you.  We cant control that.  We can control how much love we show to our partners.  That is what truly matters.

Just got back from visiting my fiancé, and although the future is still so uncertain with him being affected by the travel ban, a NOA2 paper was here to greet me once I got home.
 
NOA1: June 21st
NOA2: January 4th
 
No RFEs, no updates online.

No kidding. We are abiding by all laws and doing everything legally and we are basically treated like criminals. I feel for all immigrants who have the “American Dream”. It is dead right now. Hopefully we will find a great compromise between the need for security and the allowing of people to come here to make a better life. We are a country of immigrants and immigrants built this country. Hopefully someday we will once again live up to the words on the Statue of Liberty. 

reading the june/july threads is depressing

Plot twist: yesterday's approvals were a mistake hahahah. 
 
Don't kill me, just trying to keep things light here. We are all waiting for this, I know.

Got home today from another three weeks in the states. God it's so hard to leave. I miss him already. 
 
We had a wonderful time though, spending Christmas with family.
He proposed to me at the airport when I came in on Dec 16. We already had plans of course but he is a sucker for tradition so he went and made it official. Right there, in the arrival hall. 
 
Other good news, I saw our paper NOA-1 come in. That was awesome.  It's so good to know the clock finally started. We are at Dec 22, hoping to be able to be together Sept/Oct. 

That is so true.  I'm 56 and would like to retire to Rose's home in the Philippines.  I'm sure Aira and AJ will want to work here and they should have that right.  There are more opportunities here for hard working people but we are not doing this to become a ward of the state or to take away other people's jobs.  We just want to be happily married and live a comfortable and peaceful life together.  It really should not be this hard.

from what I saw in Igor's list - the people that have enrolled in their timelines here there isn't as much people from September/October and on. So yes - I would think once they finish the bulk of the summer filers, it might speed up some for us winter folks
