There's not point to call or submit an inquiry until a few conditions have been met
 
1) Your case is past 210 days (7 months) as current estimates are 5-7 months.
2) Your case is past the inquiry date posted online, currently October 10th I think.
 
And what I would do then, is instead of calling, contact your senator and let them do it. It's anecdotal, but it seemed to provoke action a few days later for some of my friends. But they will tell you you must wait until you're past the inquiry date posted online. Before that, there's no use to call.

NOA1 Received: Nov 17th (Submitted date Nov 21 on new site)
NOA2: May 8th
172 days and I am CANADIAN.
 
NOTIFICATION METHOD: Received email from old website confirming approval but I'm too excited to remember the password to check it on USCIS Online (I can barely type this).
BUT new website still says just "Received".
Case Tracker App says we are approved also.
 
I'm really quite shocked that we did not get an RFE or a case transfer as we had an issue with simple criminal charges that I was positive we were going to get flagged for.
 
Thank you for all of the tense and frustrating moments and support guys! I'll still be here listening to your notifications blowup my phone until you all are in.

Oh my GOSH. What a relief and what a surprise. 
 
I flew into the US last night and we got the notification this morning! We received an email to the account registered on the new website, saying 'We have taken an action on your case' and then when we logged into the website it said our case had been approved.
 
Sent: Nov 15
NOA1: Nov 20
NOA2: May 8
 
For anyone wondering how it was coming back into the US: I went through the automated entry at Boston Logan, and for the first time ever got the go ahead from the machine (usually I get a big cross over my picture and have to go into another line!) This time I was sent into a line with the US/Canadian passport, green card, and repeat ESTA people. The border agent asked what I was in the US for, I said 'Visiting my fiancee' and after a couple of questions about my job, where my fiancee lives, and a confirmation that I'm not allowed to get married on this trip, he gave me a huge smile and a 'Welcome to the United States!' Lovely experience!

December filer here.. But rooting for speedy November because you guys are in my way haha. Maybe it will ramp up as the month goes on. 

Hi guys, I haven't come around here much lately (been busy running the October scans and trying to keep up with all the posts, active months become so chatty ). I saw they kind of started processing November but only with a few approved cases. The same happened with October the first days and then approvals started pouring in. Just wanted to say hold on, you'll start getting your desired approvals very soon. Really hoping they start clearing up October (they have waited enough already) so that they can finally focus on you 

He called and spoke with the doctor in Maracaibo.  He told him that once we get approved to schedule the medical exam.  It's looking like the average number of days from approval to interview is 80-95 days so I don't think waiting to get the medical results will be a problem.  The doctor didn't indicate that the results would take a long time. 

What did the doctor's office tell your fiancé? I was checking the website of one of the embassy doctors and it says that the medical results can take up to 3 weeks (bc of the gonorrhea test) and the embassy site says it takes up to five weeks. I honestly doubt that the medical exam results will take months, especially since they are charging in dollars

Hi, I am a Filipina and my Fiancé is a US Citizen. Got our NOA1 on Nov. 22, 2017 but in January 30, 2018 my Fiancé was arrested and charged of Child Pornography and currently out on bail. As for his arrest, will that cause our application automatically rejected?

USCIS reviews all expedite requests on a case-by-case basis and requests are granted at the discretion of the office leadership. The burden is on the applicant or petitioner to demonstrate that one or more of the expedite criteria have been met.
USCIS may expedite a petition or application if it meets one or more of the following criteria:
Severe financial loss to company or person; Emergency situation; Humanitarian reasons; Nonprofit organization whose request is in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States; Department of Defense or national interest situation (These particular expedite requests must come from an official U.S. government entity and state that delay will be detrimental to the government.); USCIS error; or Compelling interest of USCIS.  
It's pretty rare.  I've seen people from war zones get denied for expedition.

I just received an email on a Case Status Change now (1:13 pm My Time). It reads APPROVED (April 4th)!!!  The old website states the same, the App updated later, but the new website isn't yet updated.

With the amount of RFEs lately, some of which are for no reason, we are operating under a very cautious timeline. If you expect the worst, nothing will ever surprise you  and if we end up getting word earlier, then happy days!

It is with great sadness that I report that I sent a letter today to withdraw our petition. VisaJourney has been my lifeline during this process and I will miss it.  @Naes thank you for all your hard work keeping us informed!
