Hello everyone . I’m little_vixen’s other half. I am not very computer savvy but wanted to congratulate all the approvals. I read along here on the forums but haven’t spoken up. I’m very excited. Just wanted to say how happy I am for those that have been approved and to thank all the people here at visa journey that help keep us from going crazy during the wait.

It just got updated on the new website. 😍😁

Ladies and Gentlemen, the first real December scan is a fact:
 
5 approvals
1 RFE
1 notice of action (serious RFE with short time limit)
1 withdrawal notice
 

I just run a scan on December 1 filers and 5 cases were approved today. OMG!!!! I'm so excited right now. I'm also a december 1 filer 

Is this the same DeepakChani who trolled us a while back with "THEY JUST STARTED DECEMBER!!! / is what I'll say when they start December finally"?  Maybe I'll wait for a few more approvals before getting excited :-P

Mike involved the congresslady last week, it might be the reason that we finally got the approval.

Because they aren't approving them fast enough to keep pace with the number of cases they need to be processing on a daily basis so they are getting further and further behind.
 
For the month of May, the should be focusing on November cases, but we only see 630 November cases approved so far and  another 504 in an RFE status, but have over 3200 cases for them to work. They seemed to have recently slowed down a lot.

My estimates for December start:  Most likely we will see some initial progress next week, and then see it start to ramp up slowly from the 11th onward and in full swing starting the week the 18th.  How much they do between now and the end of next week would be a decent indicator. Good luck guys!

So', I'm bored and decided to look at some data and make some guesses...
 
According to VisaJourney data, there are 310 K-1s in the VJ database for November 2017. 91 of those have received NOA2.  
That gives us a 29.3% NOA2 rate (approvals) thus far.
 
If we extrapolate that all to all November cases that weren't rejected in the beginning, 3374, that would mean 978 approvals have potentially happened if we can assume non VJ members are being approved at the same rate as VJ members who have updated their timelines. And we know that some VJ members haven't updated their timelines since the first entry, so this is possibly a little low. Our current known RFE rate is about 80% of the known approved cases, so the same ratios would mean there are possibly 783 cases in RFE status.
 
This would be 1761 cases approved or in RFE using these extrapolated estimates.  In our scans, we're only showing 881.... so that would mean possible a 50% silent rate now; which is not too surprising if the historical rate was 30% and they are now starting to use the new system more and more and probably use the old system less and less. We have seen a lot of people posting the old website wasn't updated for them, so I think this is somewhat believable.
 
If it's true, that 1761 cases have been touched... We'd be just 50% of the way finished now and I'd expect them to do a lot of cases next week and then start December June 4th following week while they finish up November. I would say if we do happen to see a tiny trickle of December cases next week, then these estimates are pretty accurate. Let's see what happens. I'm starting to revise my December start date a bit closer...

I would say those of us November filers still waiting have a very high chance of getting our approvals or an RFE in the next 2 weeks. 
 

Lol, that's a pretty gloomy prediction! I doubt it'll be a December POE for most December filers. If most get their approvals in June then I think August is probably when most will do Interviews and then August/September will serve as POE. I'm a January and I'm hoping for a start in late June (we can always hope!) but will probably be July/August for our approvals. POE for Jannies would probably be September/October.

I have  Broadway tickets for harry potter and the cursed child for November so my fiance better be here.
 
I don't think we are going to see many approvals today because is a Friday before a holiday, but i'm hoping for a rain of approvals next week.
