Well, If Nov Filers start getting EAD/AP's in a few weeks that would be wonderful.

I am thinking about expediting - I still have my Deal Memo's for my O1 for assignments starting late February 2018. Could I use those for expediting? It is around 5 digits worth of assignments Late February/March & May 2018. I am hoping to simply get my EAD mid-February but I guess expediting it would be the smartest since I also need to set up my US business, apply for EIN, get my business bank account and so on which will take some time.

    Happy Monday October Filers!

We just received our interview notice from the San Jose office this weekend. It was a lot faster than expected as a lot of people who filed in October are still waiting for their EAD/AP. Here's our timeline:

10/18/17 - NOA for AOS and EAD
    11/13/17 - Biometrics
11/24/17 - NOA for AP (We sent out our AP application after EAD but still received the combo card)
    12/14/17 - EAD Approved
    12/22/17 - EAD/AP Approved
12/30/17 - Received social security card (applied as part of AOS)
    01/06/18 - Received Interview Notice for 02/02/18

For those who have not received their EAD/AP, hang in there. Should be any day now. Goodluck to all!

lms got a reaction from Amhara in Esta Revoked - should I rent a flat before reapplying?
All of that could have been avoided with a Return flight within 90 days. Or a flight to South America within those 90 days.

Bummer. I would wait minimum of half a year before trying to apply for a B Visa.
Travel somewhere else. Canary Islands are nice for example haha.

& than simply build your life again in the UK, make a detailed travel plan before the interview.

I'm following the October thread, and apparently some of them are getting their EADs already. So hopefully we start getting ours early january.

lms got a reaction from Coco8 in O-1 job letters
I had 21 Deal Memo's / Job offers over the course of the next 3 years (I included job offers outside the US - it is important that they see you are busy/needed/respected in your field - and you can make that case with not only jobs inside the US but also outside of the country. I mean, think about it: O1 is a dual intent visa, but you don't have to move to the US and can travel in and out with it as often as you like).
I got approved after an RFE.
I had about 50 pages of press/publications (for the RFE I made an Excel sheet with all the circulation info and unique visitors on the websites of the publications, so I hit them with numbers) and 14 Letters of Recommendation (re-wrote 8 for the RFE and got an additional one).
I submitted 4 invoices that were 10k or higher.

I am a photographer and Art Director. Hope that helps!

Thank you! Yes, so what I did is
    1. called USCIS and resquested an expedite processing of ny EAD based on two of the USCIS expedite criteria. they are listed here https://www.uscis.gov/forms/expedite-criteria . I chose „severe personal financial loss and national interest situation“ because I will work for a company where I argue there is a clear government inteeest to have me approved. The agent then gives you a tracking number for your request that you should note down and also give to your congressman/woman.
    2. went to my local congresswoman with all my document including my job offer letter that states start date, requirement to have EAD card and salary, as well as other supporting documents such as a cover letter explaining my situation, a couple articles about the firm I have an offer from and my receipt notice. My congresswoman then faxed everything to USCIS.
So you just just call them and create the expedite request - you can do that as soon as you have your biometrics done - and there’s is no need to wait for 75 days, if you have a job offer that clearly states a start date.

    Best of luck to you

Informed delivery, sign up for it on USPS website . Its free... You usually get pictures of your mail in the morning through email or the app and if you get packages you can see those under the package tab. Because USCIS sends the cards through insured priority mail they appear in the packages section although its a smaller mid sized slim envelope.
For packages you get a massage as soon as the label is created and you can track it all the way. Your daily mail will only show on the day it arrives .

USCIS good morning what's going on?   We need to hear some good news by now to next week for @Jesusboy @Hamilton @Canelita @listeague and all the others who are waiting patiently for their card.  You have already made us look like fools, feel like a nobody, when in fact we are highly educated, professional people who had good jobs, our own vehicle, owned our own house back where we came from. Please USCIS give us our EAD cards for Christmas so that we all can re-build our lives and take care of our family.  Thanks again, I will make sure to save a BIG Turkey leg for you OK - I have learnt that Turkey is like the thing here for you guys.

If anyone is interested. My O1 got approved 3 days after USCIS received my AOS Papers.  Even though the GC application trumps the O1 now, it still feels good that USCIS decided I am extraordinary .

    Waiting for NOA1 now.

    Cheers
