  1. He got his ceremony letter in the mail yesterday, his appointment is on 9-12. So exciting!!! The status for his i751 just says his case was transferred to another jurisdiction.
  2. This is normal! My husbands has been sitting so long that he already applied for naturalization. He had his interview, passed it and now waiting. They said it will take less than a month for him to get the ceremony letter. The status has changed now with his I-751
  3. My husband had his naturalization interview today. He passed all the tests but he hasn’t gotten his 10 year green card yet so they said they couldn’t make a decision. He asked the officer if Everything was ok and he told him yes everything is fine but since your 10 year green card hasn’t been approved yet we have to wait for the approval. Has anyone been through this and have an estimate to how long it can take? My husband came on a fiancé visa and we have been waiting so long for the 10 year that he was already qualified to apply for citizenship. I’m hoping it will speed things up now that he did the naturalization interview.
  4. My husband and I planned a trip to go back to his country and already bought tickets and made plans. From no where we got a letter with an appointment for my husband’s naturalization interview and it’s during the time we will be out of the country. The paper says the appointment can be rescheduled if you are sick with covid but that’s all. Can it be reschedule for other reasons or are we stuck and have to cancel our trip?
  5. Is it possible to file for citizenship if we are missing one of the tax transcripts? My husband came on K1 and its time now for him to apply for citizenship. However, our 2020 taxes are still not processed due to Covid they say. So we are missing that one at this time. What else can we do? Can we provide what was submitted when we filed or it has to be a transcript? We want to submit the application as soon as possible but the tax thing is holding us back.
  6. Is there something I could do if my husband never got his extension letter after filling I-751? It’s not lost in the mail we just haven’t gotten it yet. He got a great job offer and they are asking for the extension letter since his permanent resident card has expired. They said if he can’t prove his status then they will have to pass on him. He has a baby and now is worried since he left his previous job. Can we contact USCIS for assistance or basically not much he can do until he gets that letter?
  7. Hello, I filed for removal of conditions and we got an update which I have attached. Does this mean they used the old fingerprints? My husband has only gotten them done once so I’m assuming they are using those ones he had done when he first arrived in the US.
