Congrats!! Great everything went smooth for  you! You can now finally move on to a new chapter of your life!

I'm still waiting for my interview to be scheduled. I actually requested help from our local congress woman to get an inquiry but pretty sure USCIS will just say "within normal processing times". PD was for June 18th 201,8 hoping any day now I get the status change to interview scheduled.

We’re basically at the finish line for the most part 💪🏽 Youll be fine 👌🏽🍀🍀🍀 i watch this immigration lawyer show on YouTube and he has random couples on the street do a stokes interview (when they separate you) to see how much people know each other and is super funny and eye opening, people that have been married for ages forget certain things, let alone just a few years like us lol look it up, bradified marriege lol good luck 👍🏽🍀

    Afternoon All,
just a quick update on our status.. today was our interview @ 1pm, we arrived at 12:15 and was called in around 1:15. We walked into the officers office where we were told not to sit until we agree to tell the truth . Then we sat down and the officer said at this time he will Invite us to give any additional evidence and supporting documents to show we have an ongoing marriage. We presented pictures of the last year together at various times, bank statements, car insurance, health insurance, life insurance showing my beneficiaries. He then asked us to tell him about our relationship/ marriage. When we met, got engaged and married. How was our wedding day. Who attended was it a big ceremony or little. He then took the pictures and asked us to explain who was in them and what was the event or location. He also went over the yes and no questions that were on the application. He then advised that everything looked great and he’s approving our application to allow 3 weeks to get the card in the mail. He then asked if we have any questions. Then told us to have a nice day and congrats total time of interview was approximately 15-20 minutes . 🎉🍾 thank you god this chapter is over for now. To all that’s waiting hang in there your day is near. ... sorry for any grammatical errors just me typing excitedly while on the way home.

Ok so on Tuesday i called USCIS and a T2 agent called me back and gave me my appointment time and date, exactly in one month and of course I’m going bananas 😪 getting ready! I needed the date to give my employer notice in advance 😪 so good luck my friends ♥️ We’re almost at the first finish line now, cause probably in 2 more years we’re at it again and then a year later for citizenship lol i read somewhere idk if it was here but there was an adjustment case that way shy of one month from their second year anniversary and they still gave em 2 years 😪 so that ship has sailed for us lol peace...btw it’s at the federal plaza thank GOD!

I'm so glad for all of you who recently received the date of the interview, and will be waiting for your comments after these are conducted, really hope they will be a good and positive experience 🙂 it seems something is finally moving for us 2018 ones 🙂 my PD is December 2018 so based on recent moves it will be probably another half of year for me until something will be going on..but its always better half of year than a year and a half if basing on processing times listed on uscis website..wishing all of you luck and officers in good mood 🙂

That’s literally what I’ve been doing 🤣 I actually googled “aos interview experience 2019” and have had some prospective, also there are some document filing websites that give you a list of examples and i copied them, and will print em out in a test form give a copy to my hubby and one for me, fill it out and exchange it, like a “know your boo” kind of thing to make sure we’re on the right page, also they say they’ll ask you questions from the forms you filed, so make sure you have your copies.  I’m attaching the questions samples for you cause I don’t remember the exact webpage i got em from💁🏽‍♀️Added the other list🍀

It is my understanding that the medical is now good for two years and the affidavit is a prediction of earnings for that year you’re submitting it in. Bring the tax returns to ensure your petitioner actually made the predicted amount or over, as long as it’s 125% over poverty line👌🏽

    Hi folks ,
i just want to share this news . Some of you probably read about it , but the attached one is the updated one.
USCIS Announces Measures to Reduce N-400 and I-485 Processing Times
    08 Jul 2019
Processing times at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) have long been a point of concern. And the Trump Administration’s efforts to implement roadblocks in the legal immigration system have only exacerbated the situation. Since the last fiscal year of the Obama Administration, the overall USCIS processing times have increased dramatically. Notably, processing times for applications to register permanent residence or adjust status (form I-485) and applications for naturalization (form N-400) have nearly doubled.
The USCIS is now taking steps to improve processing times for I-485 and N-400 applications. Unfortunately, as part of these efforts, the USCIS appears poised to make the application process more inconvenient for some applicants.
USCIS Announces Measures to Reduce Processing Times
In announcing efforts to decrease processing times, the USCIS attributed the N-400 and I-485 backlogs to a greater-than-expected volume of cases; moreover, the increase in cases has hit some USCIS field offices harder than others, resulting in disparities in processing times.
The USCIS now will be redistributing these case types more evenly across field offices. The USCIS indicates that, as cases are shifted to balance workloads, some applicants may have to appear for in-person interviews at field offices outside their normal respective jurisdictions. Applicants still, however, will be able to appear for biometrics appointments at the application support center nearest to them.
    Unforeseen Consequences
Though the USCIS’s measures may prove effective in decreasing processing times for forms N-400 and I-485 on paper, the aforementioned disadvantage to applicants must be considered, as well. Applicants who are scheduled to appear for interviews at field offices outside of their normal jurisdictions will be required to make appropriate travel arrangements. While the USCIS has not provided any specifics, the hope is that interviews scheduled outside an applicant’s normal jurisdiction will only be scheduled at field offices that are within reasonable commuting distance.

You’re welcome! We’re here to help based on our own experience 💁🏽‍♀️
Regarding traveling outside of the country with the EAD, personally I haven’t but I’ve seen people posting their experience and it has been good, some people are taken to secondary inspection to make sure they’re cleared to really travel and also to validate the document itself. Initially when i first submitted the aos i traveled with my noa binder (yes, i have a binder with all that paperwork also marriage certificate) and would travel with my foreign passport only inside the US territory and had absolutely no issues 👌🏽 Personally i rather wait for my GC to travel abroad cause i want to take advantage of US residency visa waivers to travel to different countries which otherwise require a visa (based on my passport), like Canada for example, in the meantime i keep my traveling domestic and use my drivers license for ID (even though i carry my EAD of course but only show DL). As long as your EAD is a combo card that’s all you need to reenter but to be on the safe side, carry an aos binder that has all your approvals, noas and copy of your marriage certificate too along with your foreign passport and have a good safe trip 💁🏽‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️

I had my gc interview yesterday in Cleveland June 25  at 1:00 pm it lasted 45 mins and everything went great.  The Officer was nice and funny i brought with me a big heavy folder, medical exams and my album with more than 100 pictures and he didnt ask to see any papers just the album cause he loves looking at pictures he just asked me the yes and no questions  and a few questions to my husband the US Citizen about me like my dob, my parents name how we met and how many times he  went to visit me at my country and what plans he had for the future for us. At the end of Interview he said everything was good and my case was held for review but it was just procedure he said. We went home and 5 hours later my case updated to new card is being produced  😁😁😁. I wish you all good luck with your journey And thank you.
