I think OP meant to say that he is currently in the US on VWP, and is getting married to his USC partner (who is co-sponsoring with his mother).

Hopefully other people can chime in with specifics as I don't know much about co-sponsoring.

    * OP if you're not in the US currently, you should cancel your plans to enter by VWP and file a K1 visa instead.

** if OP is already here on VWP, he can marry and adjust as nobody stopped him at the border. OP, just be prepared for more scrutiny of your relationship.

Thank you for understanding my question well haha :))

  2. @missileman sorry what I wanted to say is that

I am from Korea and in the U.S now to get married by VWP.

I and my spouse are same sexual and try to get married in about 70 days.

Anyways I am super confused if My spouse needs to fill I-864(He worked in Korea last 2 years so he needs sponsor therefore he just started working and graduated school a week ago)

and thankfully his mother is gonna help us being sponsor and we live together.

but his mother works by herself and her husband works in a company. and I guess they have mutual household for tax something.

    So, do I have to prepare my husband's I-864 and his mother's I-864 and her husband's I-864a

    or my husband's I-864 and his mother's I-864a?

    Thank you

  4. I am under process for getting green card for my husband

First of all, In the i-485 and i-130 form In the "recent immigration history" section, #16, it asks about "travel document number used at last arrival".

My husband entered the country through the ESTA program. He hasn't got any Visa to enter the country because of ESTA system. This was not his first time entering the country for traveling before.

For this section of the form, do we need to use the ESTA number, the i-94 number, or just leave it blank / write none?

Second, I heard I need to fill in for all forms as capital letters for name. Is that right? Like Chris Lee (X), CHRIS LEE (O)

Third, in the some form instructions it recommend us to put some None or N/A sign, if I don't have specific number or times. Do I need to put these into all?

For the last, in the same form in part 2. Application type or Filing category number 2.

There is the question "Are you applying for adjustment based on the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) section 245(i)? and I guess we should answer Yes

but next question makes us confused which is "If you are the principal applicant, provide the following information." 3. and 4. question are about Receipt Number of Underlying Petition (if any) something

and also we haven't got any number yet so do we need to let these blanks or None?

    Thank you
