Resubmitted AOS package (Original submission was March 11th, got rejection notice May 11th for wrong payment) with updated I-485 mailed it out May 13th. Arrived in Chicago May 14th. Received NOA1 via texts messages for AOS, Travel, and EAD May 31st in evening. Check not cashed yet, but it will be eventually. It seems my case was processed faster than other because of the rejection notice. They sent me a bright yellow paper to return with my packet.
 
No we just have to wait! We're at least a little more relaxed now that we have case numbers and know the USCIS has our case.

Received our NOAs in the mail today - that's just a couple days after the texts arrived (Wednesday).  Check cleared our bank account the day after the texts.  NOAs should have arrived yesterday according to Informed Delivery, but our postal worker skipped our street for some reason 😆.

Very good, but set your expectations low, does not hurt to pray! Hoping it's quick!

Just got texts Receipt Notice today. Sent my package on April 1st 😊

Yeah my husband and I aren't stressing on the green card as long as he gets his EAD quickly. All he cares about right now is getting a driver's license (which requires an EAD in my state) and working. 

Just got our interview notice in the mail for January 30th. No change for EAD yet.

I've been a silent observer for the past couple of months. I just wanted to share our good news. I got a text message and e-mail this morning stating Interview Was Scheduled for my husband's AOS.
Here's our timeline:
09/24/19- submitted AOS packet
09/27/19- received
10/16/19- Biometrics
11/15/19- Ready to be schedule for Interview
12/06/19- Interview Scheduled
 
We live in California so I never expected this so soon. Still grateful though.  Hoping for good news for all of you too!

I see that we also have been scheduled an interview date. Also in Kendall. I was just telling some friends yesterday, that it would seem that we will be getting an interview sometime in January, based on the timelines represented here. We will see if that holds true. Also, I am eager to find out if the GC and EAD will be shipped out back to back as I have heard of instances where they were received like a few days or a weeks time apart.

On November 18, 2019, we scheduled an interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxx We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

If that was true, probably 80% of the people on K-1 wouldn’t qualify 😂 lol

I got a notification from the case status app.... I am thinking it’s a easy fix I think they want tax return 

Statuses are a hit or miss.  For example, our K1 Case still says last updated 11/21/2018 as "Case Was Received", he is now my husband and we have filed for AOS.  It goes to show you, they are 50/50.  

I wouldn't get too hung up on this.  As Sarge says it changes all the time.  I think monthly.
 
As I recall from our I-129f days, 50% of the cases would be completed by the 'low' range and 93% would be completed by the 'high' range.  So, optimistically speaking, you have a 1 in 2 chance of having your EAD/AP in 5.5 months.  And if the USCIS adjusts it back to 4.5 months, you have a 1 in 2 chance of having it in that time.
 
My feeble memory seems to recall we had our I-129f approval prior to the lower end of the range that was routinely provided.  So I did a fair amount of hand-wringing for nothing.  We keep checking of course but we don't take the whole freaking thing so seriously this time around.  We'll get it when we get it.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if the USCIS puts worst case scenarios out there so you feel warm and fuzzy about your government if they process you quicker.  It makes them look like heroes.  I am not saying they do this but I work at a place where this is practiced regularly so I wouldn't be surprised if the government did it as well.  Anyway, at least things are moving along and sooner or later you'll have everything in hand.
