Is there ANYTHING to obtain within 2 months that would allow me attend this cruise?

Hi guys,

My initial application was sent through on August 25th, 2016. As I am getting very close to a year of waiting (next month), the only new thing that has happened was an RFE, which happened after I put through a case inquiry. This was received in the beginning of June and I immediately responded back to the request. USCIS (Texas Center) received it on June 7th, and has been working on it since (or so I hope lol). The evidence request struck me as odd as it was for an "Asylum granted Letter," which I had included in the initial application. Is there a chance that papers get lost, which is why they ask for another copy?

I have an INFOPASS appointment next Monday, where I hope to get a bit more information regarding this hold up. 

I'm very much hoping to receive my card by September, as I was planning on a cruise. This hold up has made me worry a bit regarding this. Any advice or insight is appreciated!
