I called NVC and was told im in administrative processing. Is this the normal status they tell people when you have been received and number given out before they transmit your application to the embassy?

Hey everyone, My petition was received by NVC today. Are the only 2 items I need to physically mail to my fiancé due to the signature 1) new letter reaffirming I will marry and 2) the letter of employment support evidence. Do they both require a hand signature mailed rather than scanned and emailed?

Hey everyone. I have noa2 9/2 and called uscis today and they said my case has not been sent to nvc yet intransit. They said it has not been shipped at all. Is anyone else having the same problem right now?

I’m at day 30 since mine was approved. Still not at nvc yet.

Update : so my Andrew called uscis today to check about out case if it was sent out to NVC - so they said yea it was on the 12th currently in Transit and they said call back on friday or nextweek. 
But I am hard headed and I'm sick of uscis indefinite information so I called NVC they already got it. Ask me to call back maybe tommorow or the next day for my case number. 
 
Quick question. Does NVC initialize a background check for beneficiary or it depends? 

Sorry I meant they havn't received mine yet. Yeah the had 17 approvals for 09/05 which a lot higher than normal so I expected delays. Good call on staying focused. I will do the same.

NVC rec'vd our case today! I was given the new case and invoice numbers. They said it is sent to embassy electronically so bogota should have it tomorrow or Friday and will contact my fiance by mail or emai but funny thing is I do not recall our application asking for an email for my fiance (did anyone include an e-mail??) And regular mail would take too long so I asked to include my fiance email and he gladly took it. I guess be sure they have an email.... What do I do next?

Yes this same thing happened to me, I got a nice lady on tier 2 who said she couldn't see my info and entered a service request inquiry when I was at about 5.5 months waiting. Check your case online logging into your uscis and you should now see the ticket number for the open inquiry in your case history. I was approved 2 days after they did the inquiry so the same thing may happen to you. Check your case history for now and verify they entered a ticket number. 

My fiance called and got it. Called yesterday too and they said they didnt have it. Shoot we called everyday

True  was counting from the date we sent ours in.
 
I gotta get on top of all the next steps tonight.  Haven't filled out anything else yet!  So exciting  

Yesssssssssssssssssss!!  NOA2!! Approved !!! Whew. 182 days.  So so relieved!!!
 
Man, that was a super long wait for us, whew.
