I had my FP back in late June in that same place it was quick and simple, all I took was the letter and green card!
but my interview will be held in 26 federal plaza
7th flr on the 27th.

I got my greencard on 2012. I won it at lottery, to my luck I was already a J 1 intern in New York so I did adjustment of status at USCIS instead of embassy. We jave similar timelines.
 
Anyway it says 7th floor, u will go to window 1 at 7th floor and show them your appointment, they will send u to appropriate floor later on. 
 
Keep calm though, inteeview is so fast and easy, they dont really care about anything just want to see you and confirm your n400 form answers.

I went to info pass this morning at Boston  Field Office.
 
I was incorrectly scheduled for my N400 interview on a Saturday in late Oct, The office was closed when I showed up.
 
I spoke with a tier 2 officer who said he will request Boston to reschedule my interview. Well, nothing yet.
 
I contacted my congressman but his office case manager was also unable to get me any update after 3 weeks.
 
So I signed myself up an infopass. The customer service officer was shocked to learn their error and was adamant  they can't possibly had sent letter and asked if I had altered the letter..... She then referred me to a director (so I was told) who didn't seem to be surprised , told me it wasn't the field office who scheduled me and the computer must had a glitch.  He went back to his office,  did some research and told me that being that the senator's office is involved, my case is again transferred to that congressional unit so that they could investigate and update the senator's office. Otherwise he could have just pulled my files and interviewed me this morning!
 
I was told to just go home and wait for a response.

it's good to finally see some movement for June filers

So....my wife has her interview today and she passed.  Took all of 20 minutes at the most.  She was told it could take three months for the oath ceremony....that was the only downer.

Gotta love the USCIS: I've been a US Citizen since 11/3 and this morning this is what I find in the mail...a letter saying that I entered a request to reschedule my oath!! The letter is dated 11/13 (when I was already a USC) and it's got a service inquiry # and all. Of course I never requested to reschedule my oath or anything. Should I even bother with this? I mean I already have my naturalization certificate and my passport...These guys can't leave me alone!

there is nothing you can do to expedite your case. The best thing is just forgetting and replace it with something else in your brain.

Since this is a N400 forum, the OP is asking if USCIS sent any letter to indicate that he/she is being in line for an interview.
The answer is NO. You will receive a letter when you were scheduled for an interview about 1-3 weeks from the day your status changed to "Interview was scheduled"
