I didnt see this above but, my apologies if this was already pasted. The Bureau of Immigration, Republic of the Philippines has a Facebook page that they keep pretty current. This page has the new entry restrictions, covid requirements, etc...
    It is located here: https://www.facebook.com/officialbureauofimmigration

I used only assets. I provided a year's worth of statements showing my bank balance and a copy of the printout of the town assessor showing my house's value. There were no questions. It was roughly 10 times the poverty level.  This was  a CR1.

I only needed the bank account but I think the real estate helped. I did submit both. They asked me to confirm both. There was no interest for either. Just the assets themselves and it was no trouble. I havent earned income in 10 years and it was still no problem.

You want to tell a clean and easy to understand story. How you met - proof..... where you met in person.... proof.... but between it all tell the story. I put together a booklet with all the scans and digital photos of the proof. I wrote a clear, simple story between each bit of evidence. When I was done it was easy to go through and see how we got together. Make it simple. Make is so the reviewing officer doesn't have to think.  Visa stamps are better proofs than Facebook pages. Airline tickets are good. Hotel receipts. Photos. all telling the story.

The truth is they always close the I-129F for spouse.  They've been doing it at USCIS for a year or more.  NVC was the place they got closed (with rare exception) since February 1, 2010.  Forget the K3.  It's been an obsolete unavailable visa for several years.

The people that first answer the phone have the same information that is displayed on the website/text notifications. Tier 2 can see a bit deeper but dont have access to everything the actual Officer working on the case does.

The online system is a COURTESY and USCIS makes no claims to its accuracy. Tier 2 reps have also been known to provide incorrect info on occasion.

Most likely the Officer working on your case entered a code to close out the 129f- hence the automated system saying such. The case may still be showing as 'in review' if the Officer still has it open in their system. You should not look at the 129f being closed as an indication of anything more then someone closing the 129f. It does not mean the 130 was necessarily approved- just that they stopped the 129f. At least they are working on something of yours! Hopefully it wont be much longer. You can get a jump on whats needed next using the guides.

JLJoseph got a reaction from Harish in Potomac I-130 April 2018 come here
My paperwork has been at USCIS since 7/17/2018 .  It looks like the Potomac approvals are speeding up a little. I see that they sent a block of work recently to Nebraska. That may have helped. Up to that point, they were the slowest Service Center in the country reporting processing times from 11 1/2 to 14 months. They are NOW saying 9 1/2 to 12 1/2 months for processing an I-130 for a spouse of a US Citizen. Igor's list is showing some approvals of applications from June. I don't know how representative Igor's list is.  That is a big spread though. 12 months reported by Potomac and 5-6 from Igor's list.

I'm hoping that Igor's list is representative...    It is looking like it will take 3-4 months after the NAO2 to be able to fly her here to the US. Does anyone have a better Idea for the time after the NAO2? She is fro mthe Philippines.

By just your savings alone you should be fine. The other is just extra but definately can use it. And yes it is true that the Manila Embassy sometimes does not even ask for the I-134. For what reason, not sur, but always go prepared.

They did not want to see the I-134 I provided for my partner; but also on the original I-129f petition, it states me job and been with same ocmpany for 6 years now, so perhaps that made them not even want to look, where as someone like yourself perhaps, who technically I suppose could say "Unemployed" or "Self Employed" they may want to see it you know?
