Not sure if the N400 helped or not, filed N400 in late December and wife's 10 year green card came mid January! Showing 12 month ETA for N400 on the portal now.

Thanks everyone for all the help walking through this process!!

We did adjustment on marriage from a tourist visa. Our total time was about 14 months, November 2020 to January 2022.

I dont know anyone outside of here from SRC that was processed yet!!

We sent our form in November, it shows "Received on January 7th" my wife did her bio metrics back in June... and our online status still shows "Case was received." Processing times show 5-.75 months so I am totally confused what is going on here! I just want the site to update to atleast show we did biometrics!

Nothing for us and delivered on 11/16. I am hoping this week. If nothing by Wednesday of next week, we will give them a call since we're nearing 60 days.

Yea, lots of didnt do that. The kick back is dependant on who picks up your file, hopefully you get a good agent like we all do!

Also, good news on my wife's drivers license as well so will easily keep that extended.

We mailed it on the 16th and it arrived on the 19th. Check hasnt been cashed yet, so hopefully soon. I fully expect it to take longer than a year though and not expecting any movement until we file for our citizenship next January though already so not getting my hopes up.

1 -  This one I am not sure about, I will wait. We just mailed a check from our joint account to have more evidence of a 'combined life.'
2 - Don't believe any benefit to either. We went with USPS since its a government to government hand off from the mailer. I imagine the only benefit would be getting in the system by a few faster but the wait is still long.
3 - Just an priority express envelope with a paperclip in the USPS letter.

Marla, your close to us!! We're just up the road in Prosper... maybe we'll see you guys if we all get in around the same time for interviews or oath swearing in. We plan to push for citizenship as soon as the 3 year rule hits and let it push through the ROC.

Also, yea long as you did the electronic communication form, its way better to follow that way.

We talked to him in person, not over the phone. But actually we had his phone number as well  If i remember correctly the other supervisor who gave us his business card wrote down his phone number for us.

We began without a lawyer but had to get one near the beginning, actually. We received a RFE right after filing that stated that my husband does not make enough money to be my sponsor (not true, another uscis mistake and they had plenty of evidences). So we weren't sure what to do and we hired a lawyer.

Haha it's ok, i actually don't know how this post went unnoticed because i had a huge thread about my situation before 😅 I guess there was some other more popular post at the same time i started this one. Don't pay attention to what the system says, they sent me a message that my case was approved a year later 😂 If you want a lawyer i think you should ask what exactly this lawyer can do. Because honestly our could not help us with the delay, we had to do everything ourselves. If they offer you some good options go ahead  But on the other hand you only waited for less than a month after it was received. You should give them 2 months before you start pushing them. Good luck!

Yea I just posted about this in another trend. We filed in May  2017. Our estimated wait time was 15-27 months. I figure MINIMUM people make it to 2 years because of this. Essentially, by jumping to the 10year GC you skip paying the government 500$+ for that filing fee. Once we got our 2nd EAD/AP approval, I was hoping we could save that money(We're buying a home so any savings help) but realized that government giving up money was a small chance.

Do not even consider scamming the rules.  You are not spe4cial.  If you do not want to deal with a conditional green card, wait to file.

Just an update on us -

We got our actual AP, whew! Just 20 days before we leave. Not as close as some but enough to make us worried.

Anyone have experience with changing addresses? Can you do it all online?  Turns out we'll be moving next month now as well. Not that we expect any updates but just in case.

Nothing new for us since August, just sitting on ready for schedule. We also used our AP this past week and wasn't to bad. Just a 20 minute delay while my wife was sitting to be interview. Didn't even get asked questions just got called to a room to sit then got told, all good and to go ahead in LAX.

However, I am trying to figure out how to read the site for time lines for interviews.

For our interview, will it be field office or service center? If its field office, I am confused on how to read it for the Dallas set up(Link below). It shows 9/30/17 in the top screen and a date about the 485(so back logged!) but in the logger section it shows December 1st updated...
