Our Journey reacted to Michael2017 in Pre-Interview checklist F2A
7) Form I-864 and W-2s. CHECK
You need not only W-2s. You need a tax transcript of the last (or last 3 years) OR the copy of the tax returns with a copy of the W2s.
Additionally, any document that shows that the employment is still ongoing as of the interview date will help.
P.S, our interview will be most likely in December 2018, if we are very lucky, in November 2018 based on our PD.
There is lots and lots of time.

Does revealing pictures creates an impact in our petition? Selfie of both of us on bed
It's not like we're both naked. I'm wearing my top and he's shirtless and we're in bed.

This is what you signed up for.
There are reasons to be excused from it, but simply not wanting to is not one of them.

Our Journey reacted to Cyberfx1024 in Jobs in Law enforcement in California
What department would this be for? I know LAPD's requirement is: Individuals wishing to become LAPD officers must first meet eligibility requirements. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, and be a US citizen or permanent resident alien who has applied for citizenship. One does not have to be a resident of Los Angeles to become an LAPD officer. Upon meeting eligibility requirements, individuals can apply for a position with the LAPD by completing the online application, with includes preliminary background screening questions as well as a job preview questionnaire to assess the candidate’s readiness for police work. Accepted candidates then complete the selection process with additional aptitude, medical, and psychological exams. Those who successfully pass all stages of the process will complete officer training at The Los Angeles Police Academy.

Depends. In some states you need to be US citizen to work in the police. In few you can apply as a green card holders but there is also whole bunch of other requirements.
You can enlist in army. Air force will require at least 10 year green card though.
But keep in mind - even if you enlist/get hired in police as green card holder, a lot of jobs and positions will be kept away from you since only US citizens can acquire specific security clearances.

You have six months to enter to the US...

Our Journey reacted to geowrian in Green card holder petioning husband
First, he cannot enter on a tourist visa with intent to stay / file for AOS. That is fraud.
Second, the beneficiary of an LPR petitioner cannot just AOS. They must wait until their PD is within the permitted filing period for AOS (https://www.uscis.gov/visabulletininfo). This is currently the Dates For Filing chart, but could change to the Final Action Dates chart in another month.
The mother will need to file an I-130 and wait for the PD to become current (ETA: ~2 years). Then NVC processing, then embassy interview, then POE.
She must either meet the requirements to support him, or find a joint sponsor (or eligible household member if an I-864A applies). She needs to file an I-874 either way. This won't come into play until the case is at NVC and ready for processing there (in ~2 years).

Our Journey reacted to MrsKhan in IV fee payment on NVC Website
Yes thats completely normal. Everybody has to do it this way. You pay the aos fee then it will take a few days to say PAID then you will be able to pay the iv fees. Then again about a week for that to clear before you can fill the ds260.

Our Journey reacted to G Walters in Almost 3weeks since I got my NVC #
Only the NVC can tell you why you file is under AP. It will take as long as it take. Could be days weeks or months and almost no way to speed it up. The NVC also does checks on the file. They are just a number assigning office. The have things to check to make all is right for the Embassy or consulate.
