As they said every couple is different. For me and my fiance, we talk twice or thrice everyday and we talk like an hour every conversation.. (emails and chat everyday too) Our day is never complete without hearing each others voices, my day will never be complete without hearing his. Its so hard enough being so far away from him already, hearing his voice would defintly help me get through the day.
We sometimes fight because of the phone lines, we usually get disconnected and we get tired and frustrated sometimes that cause us to argue (its nothing really serious- just because of frustrations) but we always make sure that we talk about it and settle things before we hang up.
His problem with me sometimes, when we talk on the phone, is that i dont really have much to say and i just listen to him but i explained to him why. As much as i want to talk to him, sometimes i dont because i cant really tell him exactly what i wanted to tell him. I mean, im not a born english speaker and sometimes i find it hard to talk to him. I know he knows I love talking to him but i admit, i have so much pride and i didnt want to commit wrong grammar and stuff like that so if im not sure how to tell him something, i just dont try at all and not talk.
I know its wrong because he always tell me he doesnt care about that but he's so smart and i get intimidated by him. I know i shouldnt feel that way but sometimes i do. and again its my pride. but we are trying to solve this. Im really talking to him now, and sometimes i dont care if what i said was wrong (grammatically or pronunciation)..lol
so that was my case. For me, talking everyday will defintly help long distance relationships. Communication is the biggest factor to get through..

WOW!!!!! Thank God! I was sad that i didnt get any touches at all but surprise surprise!
I checked it last night and nothing changed. But my fiance called me today and told me we got approved!!
Good Luck to those who are still waiting.. Hang in there guys!
by the way, whats next? what should we expect after we receive the NOA2?
Thanks guys and God Bless
Congrats!! Fast Approval!! Did you submit your own package or did an attorney do it for you? Was your petition straight-forward and simple with no divorces, no kids, no prior submitals? Seems to be a tread with these very early approvals of them being simple, uncomplicated petitions with no divorces, no kids, no priors. Was just wondering if yours fit this same trend or not. thanks.
No Attorney. We prepared and submitted our petition. Yeah, no complications. No kids, no divorces, no prior submitals. We just made sure that we have everything there including CENOMAR (Certificate of no marriage) and Police clearances among other documents required to be submitted..

Thanks guys! When do u think will we hear from USCIS again after we receive NOA2?

I know exactly what u mean.. I was also feeling the same, y'know"We haven't waited as long as many, but there was the distinct fear we might". I felt that too. I hope you'll have the same luck as we did. got approved in 6 weeks. well, it was really God
Just keep the faith.. Good luck! "
Just wondering if any of my fellow August filers are out there and feeling a little bit of hope due to the July approvals starting to come out of CSC? I know I am!!!I was fighting the urge not to cave in to despair for a while there. I will wait as long as it takes, and I know, I know! We haven't waited as long as many, but there was the distinct fear we might, and seeing approvals of folks who filed just a few weeks before we did really is helping me feel a lot better about our prospects.
It still sucks to see absolutely no action when I check the USCIS website, but many posting of their approvals indicate the same thing... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... NOA2!!!

Yeah, Same rate for calling both land lines and Cell phones in the US. Cards can be bought anywhere here in the Philippines.. Malls, Cell Phone card booths and/or PLDT Offices. The card is called PLDT BUDGET CARD
Instead of him calling me (from US to Phil.) I call him using PLDT Budget Cards.. Originally, Its 8 pesos per Minute but they have an ongoing promo right now of 3 Pesos per minute. Thats 86.666 Minutes for $5.. so its very cheap.
I hope the promo will run for more months.. lol
What a great idea, where specifically do you buy these prepaid cards? That is a better rate than I have been able to find state side. I'm currently using onesuite at 18cents/min and tel3.com for 20cents/min and quality is often lacking.
Also, do you get that rate calling a cell or home line here in United States?
For those watching costs, I picked up a globe sim chip on my last visit and use chikka.com to text my wife's globe phone for free, and she just texts me back on my globe cell which is roaming. As long as I maintain 100p load it lasts for a month. You can also use chikka.com to send loads to globe and sun users.
Just trying to share info and make our lives ea$ier.

Gosh, ive been reading some post and sorry to read about those couple who've been apart for too long.. Ive been apart from my fiance for just two months and I miss him terribly. Its really hard
but we're dealing with it.
Problems that we encounter are basically because of some technical problems like Phone disconnection because of bad signals, Internet disconnections because PLDT sucks.. lol and stuff like that.. We love each so much that we dont mind going through all these. We complain alot hehe.. coz its really hard but we are dealing with it and getting stronger everyday.
"Distance is not for the fearful, It is for the bold. It is for those who are willing to spend a lot of time alone in exchange for a little time with the one they love. Its for those knowing a good thing when they see it, even if they dont see it nearly enough"
Good Luck to us who are waiting
