Have you gotten any update? I received an email from the embassy today stating DHL picked up the visa on June 8th, so my fiancé will go tomorrow.

I don't know what that number is. So when I called the call center I just gave them his passport number 

Yea my fiancé is in the same position as yours. His said issued on the 5th as well. When he went the lady said they are passing out visas from May 26 and he should come back in 2 weeks. However his paperwork says if it says "issued" it's ready for pickup. So I guess there is a backlog. I called the call center and the lady said it will change from "issued" to "pickup", I'm not sure how true that is.

Has your fiancé picked up via visa yet? Mine changed to issued on the 5th but when he went to get it she said come back in 2 weeks.

My fiancé was approved on May 23rd at the Ghana embassy. The CO said it would be ready in about 2 weeks. It still says administrative processing.  Does anyone know how long it usually takes before the visa is ready for pickup at DHL?

You have 6 months and then once you arrive you have 90 days to get married.

How long after you were approved did it take you to actually get the visa from DHL?

I'm online trying to schedule my fiancé' interview and its asking for a mailing address. I'm assuming they are asking for his local mailing address but it has it like the U.S format, city, state and postal code. Ghana doesn't have a postal code so I'm unsure what to put. Any ideas?

No I didn't, I called the NVC everyday until one day they informed me it had arrived to the embassy. I did not receive packet 3 or any notification as of yet from the embassy. I did receive a letter from the NVC stating our case was sent to the embassy. Once he received packet three we followed the instructions, paid the visa fee and submitted the application etc.. The interview is in a few weeks and it just happens that I'll be in Ghana during that time...I cannot wait this has been a long process for sure!!

Thanks for the info, I'm going call NVC and find out if the embassy received my case. I was thinking about going to Ghana too for when my fiancé gets his interview date, but I'm unsure. It is definitely a long process but you are almost at the end!! So you were able to pay your visa fee online when you filled out I-160?

Ok thanks! Did you receive notification when the embassy received it after it left NVC? Also did you recieve packet 3 as well or was it just your fiancé? 

Just received my letter from NVC that it's heading to the embassy in Ghana. Do you know on average how long it takes the embassy to send my fiancé his letter to pick up his package from the embassy? 

Great news!! I just got my letter from NVC and my package is on its way to the embassy!! Does anyone know on average how long it takes from the embassy to send the letter for my fiancé to come get his interview date?

Yesss lets support each other!! I filed in December and received notification on March 21st that is on it way to NVC. I'm starting to get my packet together now so we can be as ready as possible.
