Regarding the difference between Bill Clinton's White House experience and Herman Cain, Bill had an intern flash her butt to the President as she was exiting his office. It sounds like Herman Cain was just trying to assert himself upon an underling. Not really the same circumstances.

Great news! Prepare yourself for a happy new life.
Now, get to work cleaning up the house. Seriously, you should do all you can to get things ready so that she can relax and allow her body clock to reset. She will be excited but exhausted as well. Give her time to rest and be patient. She will need time to get use to an environment that is quite different and not much of her native language spoken.
If you haven't found any Russian stores near you already, start looking. It will help her to feel more at home as she will likely get homesick in about a month after arriving.
Your fiancee will enjoy our Thanksgiving as long as you don't expect her to fix it. Do like I did when my wife arrived six year ago and buy one of those store prepared meals unless you are going to your parents for Thanksgiving. My wife arrived on the 17th of November six years ago and I'm still 1HappyGuy.
You should expect misunderstandings, so relax and work on communications. Even if her English is good, you will still have some stumbling blocks along the way. And remember, the 90 days start the day she arrives. A cheap and effective marriage can be found at the county offices.
Be sure to come back to ask questions as we have all been through this and have lots of experience. You are going to love this time.
Congratulations and best of luck the rest of the way. It gets easier from here because she is with you.

Putin will say they create a union, but it will be "Russia wants to do this and the others had better do what Russia wants".

Slim is right. I think a lot of people (guys) accept a lot of BS on the premise that it is a cultural difference, when in reality someone is seeing how far they can get. Don't put up with it.

It would not be the first time someone lied on a resume'. I don't think that is much of a lie in comparison to what others do, such as saying you graduated from a university when you didn't or having prior experience in a job with actually none. Listing yourself as being married is probably considered as a more stable person. But, if an employer finds out the truth, then you can be fired.
Honesty is still the best policy.

This sounds a lot like arguments put forth by southern plantation owners when congress wanted to outlaw slavery.

Unfortunately, the loudest voices are the ones that end up defining any religion. If only one voice is being heard, that will be the one people listen to. Right now the Islamic terrorists are carrying their brand of religion throughout the world. Until the silent majority change to be the vocal majority and work towards eliminating these fanatics, that will be the voice heard.
If we had terrorists from any other religion, that would be the voice heard unless the vast majority condemn the terrorist actions and take additional action to stop funding to terror.

Well congratulations on your first step. Watch for your Notice of Action (NOA1) in a couple of weeks. If you get a Request for Evidence (RFE) respond as soon as possible. Make sure you include the case number they assigned to you and include all documents they request (if any) in your response. Any delays on your part will delay the overall time line.
Next, be patient. You will see little or no action for several months until it gets going, so relax. Use this time to get your home prepared, find stores that carry products from your fiance(ee)'s country as a way of making him/her feel more at home. If you meet other couples like yourself, start forming friendly relationships, but make sure this is a happily married couple.
The busier you keep yourself, the faster the time will go by. Tell your SO the same thing.
Finally, start saving as much money as you can. This is just the first step and each additional step will cost you more money.
    Again, congratulations.

You know that's something I still get too. "So, is everything going okay? She's still with you?" I don't remember getting this type of inquiry in my first marriage. Is that because she was American and everyone expected it would be okay? It's almost like they are all waiting to hear it failed this time. So many figure she married me because she wanted to come to America. It's actually insulting because they are really saying something else, that she doesn't love me, but just wanted to live here.

They are asking for evidence you to met during the period you stated in your application. They need documentation of you being in her country from theatre tickets, hotel receipts, plane tickets, money exchange receipts, restaurant receipts, bus stubs, just about anything that shows a date in the place you said you met. Also, photo copies of entry stamps or visas in your passport are good evidence. Photos only go so far. With photo shop, anything is possible, so they don't rely upon photos alone.
And it appears that either your letter of intent was missing or insufficient. Look at the examples on VJ and get new ones going.
Yes, this is going to change your time line, especially if you delay to long in replying. Usually these requests for evidence come much earlier in the process, but it can come just as they are beginning to process the application. So, step on it now. You are losing precious time and possibly will end up starting over.
