I know -  At that time, there was no availability - that's why we went to Merrifield.  For my passport, I can take the day off and stop by Woodbridge Post Office.

Got an email from U.S Department of State saying that my passport has been mailed and that I should receive it on or before August 12.

It took me almost a month for my status to change to in line for interview. You have to wait for your 5 month anniversary is completed before status changes to in line for interview. My mom's status went directly to oath has been scheduled and she was never in line for oath

I am just wondering as to why you need an interpreter

I took the citizenship oath today am I am finally a US CITIZEN. There were 475 applicants but over 1000 people in attendance. Thank you and Good Luck to everyone out there.

A week left for my interview, i just can't wait, i am so excited and nervous and I don't know what, I don't know what i am, I don't think so I will be able to sleep night before interview, I really hope the officer tells me on spot that he/she is recommending me for approval, and hopefully they wont ask me for some extra documentation or whatever....oo man, this week is going to be longest week ever in human history

My guess is that our ceremony will be in beginning of August.

I found it unnecessary trying to delve that deep into details. People willfully signed up to share their updates and I think it is kind of self-evident that they would not abandon their accounts here should there have been much to share/update about.

I seen one in Washington DC who couldn't talk.

He just confirmed my most recent employment. Other than when I came to America, no other dates were asked.
