I am mostly a lurker on these forums so I know that the tracker is supposedly down, so I was very surprised to see that my case was APPROVED.  Today I got a notification from the USCIS app telling me that I was approved, and was shocked because I haven't been expecting anything from the USCIS tracker.  I have had absolutely no communication with USCIS since the NOA1 (no RFEs, name/address changes).  Maybe I was extremely fortunate in this case but be sure to check your trackers and enable notifications on the apps!  I still have yet to receive an email.  I know there are others that have been waiting a lot longer than I have, I hope everyone receives their NOA2s soon.  Here are some pics to show that the tracker apparently works for some of us.  Best of luck to all of us!

Just install the Case Tracker App. :)) then click search.. Just fill up the Case number. For example our case number is WAC1xxxxx1234 . If you want to search for those case before you, just write on the Start Receipt, WAC1xxxxx1200 or maybe 1200 :)) then count 50-100 or until 500 :)) then you can start the scan

In my opinion, if you can't handle getting through this with someone then it's probably not a person meant to spend the rest of your life with. This process is minor in comparison to a lifetime of partnership together. Full of challenges and obstacles. As hard and difficult as this process is, I would never even once consider the idea of not moving forward. My opinion may be seen as judgmental and could be wrong in your case, but that's just my opinion. I really and truly wish you the best. 

I'm just a May filer doing my normal reading of the other monthly forums and I've come across your post(s).
 
I'm truly sorry for whatever is or is not going on with regards to you and "situation" or "process". Hopefully, things may change but it sounds like they won't, which is your decision.
 
While I understand what you're going through can be looked upon as you giving up considering no one from the outside knows the details of your "situation", and they shouldn't know. But remember, that when you choose to share your stories, whether good, bad or indifferent, you are subject to other's opinions or advice. Personally, I actually took offense to this comment which was kinda harsh but very sarcastic because I'm not sure how her profile pic would give you the impression or assumption that you have a whole lot more of life experience, and it wasn't even directed at me. I'm sure there are people a lot "younger" than you that have endured or experienced more in a shorter life span.
 
At the end of the day, this "process" is not easy, and whether or not it had a portion, half or all to do with your "situation", keep in mind that we all have feelings and are all going through our own situations outside of this process and outside of VJ. No one should try to cut "below the belt" at the other person when they are not the subject or reason for your emotional decision.

Update your VJ timeline Register a myUSCIS account and you can track your case status with the receipt number. If assigned to CA, receipt number would start with CSC while TX is SRC.

Hey everyone!
I'm joining the March filers Crew.  So far I've sent my petition 3/14, it was received 3/17, and my check was cashed as well as my NOA1 was emailed today, 3/22.
 
i have been stressing the whole last week because although I diligently checked over my paperwork, I realized after my packet was sent that I accidentally signed my check on the memo line!  I was prepared that they would return it immediately because the check might not acceptable, but I can say for sure I've never been happier seeing $535 vanish from my account  and that my noa1 has come in.
 
i would also like to thank the VJ community, I would be totally lost without this site, so I hope I can contribute some back throughout my visa process.
