Adenicole I am in smartphone situation as well. Package got delivered almost 3 weeks ago nothing from them yet and check hasn't been cashed 

It usually gets ready between 3 days . Just go there and pick it up. My fiancee wet there 3 days after approval and she got it 

After approval it took my fiancee 3 days to pick up her visa . Just track it online and u can know when to go pick it up.  Goodluck

Am sorry you are going through this . The best advice I can give is to visit your local political reprentative office and explain and have him write the lagos embassy as soon as possible. I have an uncle who did this few years ago and it was really helpful.  Goodluck and do not give up . 

You still have to wait for about 3 more weeks . Don't get anything started until you hear from nvc which usually takes less than a month .

It doesn't matter which one you buy . Just go for the cheapest option . 

It's says 10 business days but usually it takes about 4 days . My fiancee had her interview on Monday and she picked it up by Friday.  

Tax transcript remains the best proof of income. They look at the last line which shows total income for the year and they make their decision based on that.  They don't look at Bank statement or any other documents. It is much easier for them verifying through the tax transcript.  

And yes they will review it right in front of your fiancee.  It's a very fast process .

It's mainly because you are still a great card holder . There are limits to number software visas that are issued to people with green cards. You have no choice than to wait for your priority date. 

My bad I thought it was k1. I think difference in religion shouldn't be a problem though . It's 2017 and the embassy knows and believes in diversity .

I would advice once it gets approved and being sent to Nigeria, give it a week then mesage lagos consulate that you will like them to email you the packets instead of mailing it to your address on file . You get it in less than 3 days instead of waiting for weeks sometimes month.

Get ready to pay 90100 for interview fee and 110000 for medical school, police report for about 8000. Medical takes about 2 weeks.

Most k1 interview don't go for that long . My fiancee had hers about a week and she was only asked the following questions. 

Who is filling for you 

How did you guys meet

What does he do . In all it took like 5 minutes interview.  

Also don't forget to mail your affidavit of support to your fiancee in Nigeria.  The embassy really pays great attention to the affidavit of support

The pick up is generally at muri okunola.  I don't know why the Isolo address remains on the website . Just go to pick it up at muri okunola, Victoria island 

My fiance had her interview on Monday and she picked up her visa today . Which is 4 days after her interview . Track your passport through the ustraveldocs.com/nig . Mine says your passport is ready for pick up last night.  So.she picked it up today . 

Sadly there isn't much you can do than to wait . You have a very low chance of getting the visiting visa . Hopefully the process goes fast for you as single handedly taking care of a baby could be overwhelming.  

I will advice you check the website on the pick up slip . My fiancee had her interview on Monday and today (4 days ) later she picked up her passport with visa attached on it . I am sure yours  is ready for pick up  as well.

The interview fee is 90100 to be paid at any gt bank in Nigeria.  Tell him to retain the receipt as it would be required to fill out the ds160 form.  Do not rely so much information on vj as they are not being regularly updated.

I don't think it has to do with fresh passport or not . That's the delay practice at most airports in Nigeria.  I visited Nigeria 2 years ago and I had to give them about 1000 naira when returning back to the states so they can check my baggage and let me go. Have a safe flight  and welcome to the United States

Thanks Blondie for the clarification.  The embassy needs to change their choice of words. It scared the s...t out of me
