When you recieved your case number , did your USCIS online status changed from CASE WAS APPROVED to CASE WAS SENT TO THE DEPARTMENT ????

Congrats and thanks for sharing the good news with us! We got married on Saint Patty's Day and are now preparing my wife's AOS/EAD/AP packet. Hope to send it out within the next week or so.

My fiance picked up his visa today. It feels so surreal, can't wait to finally begin our lives together. Good luck everyone!!!

On May 31, you posted about your K-1 fiancee. You asked about how long until she can work etc. etc. Then exactly ONE day later (June 1) your relationship was over. And since that time (over 6 months) you did not do anything about the k-1 petition?????? What were you waiting for? Procrastinating or secretly hoping that she will change her mind? Meanwhile, you're in a "relationship" with another Filipina? Are you sure she didn't go to the interview and has the visa already?
BTW, what you wrote in your other thread about not wanting to date again, it seems like you are a bit desperate and easy prey for green card gold diggers. It seems that you fall in "love" easily as evidenced by your new relationship. BTW- It's not a relationship, it's an online penpal. You have never met in person and you are already talking about another K-1 visa. Your first fiancée was using you for a visa but then had a change of mind. Women are smart, they can sense a weak man and use him for all that they can. A highly educated woman doesn't usually want a less educated man in my experience. For some reason, she changed her mind and dropped you without a second thought.
You are right about dating in America. It's very superficial. You can be a great guy, educated, successful (but not rich), and unless you have a certain look, most attractive women won't give you the time of day. And the ones that will be approachable you don't want. Plus, big guys seem to have it the hardest, unless they are the funny fat guy or have lots of money. And it's a self-confidence too that women sense about guys. They want a confident guy who is self-assured and secure in his masculinity, not some weakling who is afraid of his own shadow.
I'm sorry, but you need a reality check. Work on yourself and your self-esteem before you look to get into a relationship, because they will all end up the same way. US women won't give you a chance and foreign women will see you as their ticket to the US and be gone as soon as they get their green card. You sound like a young guy so you have time. Maybe work on improving your career since 30k is nothing these days. You don't want to be dependent on the woman to survive.

It seems to me that the original poster is going too fast. I'd strongly recommend to SPEND MORE TIME getting to truly know each other. Marriage is supposed to be something very special that last a lifetime.
Also,I think USCIS will not like to see this guy already trying to file for a new person so soon...

you need to slow down a bit , it seems to fast , take some time to make the relationship stronger

Interesting I just went to the USCIS website to form I-129F

The fee is still $340 and does not change until 12/23 but there is no mention there of the new fee.
It will be interesting to see if USCIS gives a grace period for wrong fees that are paid AFTER 12/23.
I can see this causing case delays as they send out notices of improper fee sent. - new fee is below.

For those who have not yet sent in there form please be aware fee is going up for K-1 and nearly very thing else at USCIS.

OP please contact Lizz Cannon. She gives free consults and is a highly respected and experienced immigration waiver attorney. She helped us with our waiver for a K1 visa and my now husband arrived in July. Some people told me that a fiance is not a qualified relative and in our case that was not true. Fiance's can be qualifing relatives. Please contact her. If you google LIzz Cannon her FB page, address and phone number will pop up.

You can see quite a few prior posts regarding Rapid Visa using the search tool (see above link). I think most who have used them were happy. Lawyers cost too much and unless they are experienced in immigration have a tendency to mess things up.
The guides are very helpful in explaining everything. There is even an example forms tab to use to see examples of how forms should be completed. Why not save $$ and do it yourself. It's really not that difficult.

I thought Jamaica's first language was English? I am a little confused

I am so excited right now NVC received our case!!!!!!!! My blood pressure is now normal again and my stress level has left from 10 to 3 lol!
