I asked my immigration lawyer the same question as I am in the same boat and it doesn't matter so long as it's going into an Australian account and will be taxed by Australia. I wouldnt transfer any money from Australia to the US though until your visa is approved.

Right! Its beyond ridiculous hence why I got the Congressman involved. 4 Service requests with no response just wasn't cutting it!

Because I had rung a number of times and spoken with my attorney and apparently this is normal processing times in tampa at present however I am fed up with it so I decided to go to a higher party.

My filing date was 5 may 2017 and still no EAD, 3 service requests and an infopass appointment and no response to any SRs.

I had my biometrics in mid June, still nothing about my EAD and AOS, any ideas on how to speed things up would be good or comments on people around the same timeline would be great. I came here on a K1 visa. Thanks everyone.
