You Have Many Alpha Tendencies
You're not a total alpha female, but you certainly know how to - and like to - get your way.
You're forceful without being intimidating. You're confident without being vain. A perfect mix.

You Are: 10% Dog, 90% Cat
You are are almost exactly like a cat.
You're intelligent, independent, and set on getting your way.
And there's no way you're going to fetch a paper for anyone!

You think it's safe to put the battery in the checked bag? I dunno... If they ask to turn it on and I don't have the battery that would look mor suspicious than anything. I think we'll have to take our chances.

You Are a Blue Flower
A blue flower tends to represent peace, openness, and balance.
At times, you are very delicate like a cornflower.
And at other times, you are wise like an iris.
And more than you wish, you're a little cold, like a blue hydrangea.

Back to the OPs quesiton:
I know this didn't ask for my story, but I like to tell my story. So if you don't feel like reading it, then just skip over the next big paragraph! Thanks!
I was what some would call a very devout christian while in high school. What they didn't know was that I had been having way too many doubts and going to church and youth group turned into more of a social thing. I went to a christian college and while I was there met some of the most awesome muslims! But while I was there I still didn't want anything to do with Islam. Then my best friend and I met my husband old roomate and she started looking into Islam and told me that I should read about it too because there was a lot of things that made sense. So then I met my husband and I still didn't want to have anything to do with him because I was going to marry a christian! It wasn't until the spring of 2005 that I really started looking into Islam. I had read a book in Germany about the differences between Islam, Judaism(sp?), and Christianity. Ended up that there were a few things that I actually believed in Islam. So when I moved back to Philadelphia, I went to this arabic maket that has a book store above it that Megan and I had been in a few times. I bought about 5 books and started reading about Islam. Then My husband and I got back together and I started talking to him about it. Over time I found a deep passion for Islam, but figured I couldn't revert because of only the things I was learning from the books, but I needed some sort of sign. Well my husband and I decided that we would have an Islamic wedding in the mosque across the street from that arabic market. Before I went over there I went upstairs and was searching for a scarf to wear. Some of the girls I had met who worked there were talking to me about what I believed in Islam. They pretty much told me that I believed everything that it says in the Shahada. When I went into the mosque, then men said to my husband " I thought you said she was a christian?! Why is she wearing hijab?" So that night I got my sign. The most amazing dream. I don't know if it was from something that I had read, or something I think I read, but I know that it was giving me my options. My name was written in a book, a voice said "You have to choose." the book went up into flames. The voice said "You can choose the hellfire," the flames turned into this beautiful wild orchid "or paradise." I woke up and my husband told me that I had been speaking fluent arabic in my sleep. He couldn't understand it completely, but he recognized it as a verse from the Quran. (mind you I had only read the Quran once) So after awhile, I decided to say the Shahada. It's now been a little less than a year, and my first full day in Morocco will mark my first full year since I reverted to Islam!
Sorry that was so long. So I guess to really answer the question: I made the decision on my own, with a little help here in there to point me in the right direction.(hope that makes sense) Also, before I decided to revert, my hubby and I had talked about having our different religions. We figured that we would raise the kids to learn about both religions and then they can make the choices themselves when they are old enough. We had also talked about the fact that I might not ever convert/revert to Islam, and he was fine with that since both christians and muslims are both followers of the book. Hope that answered your question.

Okay, we are leaving Feb 16th and returning March 11th. We are going to Tanger, the very tip of Morocco. We are flying out of JFK (NY) and lukily we have a straight flight.
My doctor gave me the Hep A vac. and my tetanus, she also gave me pills for typhoid(just in case). My friend had her typhoid shot before she went her first time too.
On the way back in the airport when you go to leave, make sure your husband is with you...I had one incident where they asked me to open my bags and then wanted to take my video camera...they asked for my husband to pay for their breakfast instead...Morocco is notorious for asking for and taking bribes. Also, RAM has taken my camera batteries before boarding every time...I hate them for that! I avoid them for this reason among other reasons. They might steal my cam battery?! That things expensive! Aye Aye Aye! He better be standing right with me. Expecially since he just bought it for me 3 days ago!
I was wondering if they could possibly make me pay tariffs on my iPod, video cam, digital cam, or dvd player? I heard one time something about that and that you have to have proof that you purchased it in the US or something like that.
Thanks for all the info!

As most of you know my hubby and I will be flying to Morocco in a few weeks. I have a few last min questions for those who have been to Morocco. Thanks!
1. Did you have to get any vaccinations before your trip?
2. What exactly is the weather like this time of year?
3. How long should we give ourselves before our flight to go through security and check-in?
4. Where exactly can I find the new airport security laws?
5. What can I expect when I get to the airport in Casablanca?
6. Do we have to pay any tariffs for any of our items we take to or from Morocco?
7. Am I allowed to bring my videocamera on the plane or do I have to check it? (really don't want to)
8. If I happen to get sick or injured while in Morocco, is there such a thing as travelers insurance? If so, where can I find it and who is the best provider?
Ok that's all I can think of for now. Thank you very much for reading this and hopefully replying.

Good morning everyone! Oh wait, Good afternoon everyone! Just got to work. I had a doctors appointment this morning for a follow-up on my migraines and had to get some shots. Got called to go into my other job tonight. Not too happy about that, but what can I do? At least I get tomorrow night off instead. My hubby had to go to traffic court this morning and it's been over 3 hours since his scheduled time, and I have yet to hear from him. I'm a little worried since he had to drive all the way to Deleware in the snow. I hope he calls me before 3 or I will be totally freaking out.
Anywho, I love to knit too. I taught myself. The only thing I have knitted so far have been scarves. Pearl isn't too hard, it's pretty much the backwards knit. Once you learn that, you can pretty much do about everything. Good luck Rahma!

I was up at the butt crack of dawn this morning. My husband decided for some random reason to listento his voice mail on his phone. I don't know if his alarm went off for work or if someone had called him, but as soon as he moved I woke up! SO I was wide awake and just laid in be for another hour. Now I am at work and I can barely keep my eyes open. can't tell if that's because I have the heat on beside me, but I am just exhausted. only 50min til i can go take a nap. yay!
Oh yeah, my hubby got the job offer from the place he interviewed yesterday for 7 hours. But he didn't tell them we are going to Morocco for 3 weeks! I guess we will have to wait and see what he is going to do now.
Have a good day everyone!

As far as I know they have heat in his house. Whenever I have see his sisters or mother they have been sitting at the computer in tank tops. So either they have the heat really high, or they are crazy and freezing there butts off. Oh well, either way, I will be prepared and will have all of my hooded sweatshirts packed.
Thanks for all the advice everyone!
