  1. I had my interview Jan 5th in Albany NY (AOS interview was in NYC). It was literally six minutes long. He took out the I-751 application and went through the first three pages asking us our names, birth days, place of birth, socials, marriage date and place, address, height/weight. He also looked at our photos very quickly, and took our updated documents. He said he would approve the application that day... so I anxiously check my mailbox everyday lol.... I don't think I'll actually believe it until my card is in my hands. When we were going through security, the security guards were talking to each other and were surprised that there were actually appointments happening that day/week because "there are, like, no cases." I have no idea what that means, but there were only around five other people there. We had submitted our address change docs (AR-11 and I-865) in November, but by the time an officer had looked at them, we'd been scheduled for an interview, so we got a notice saying that they wouldn't accept our change of address and to file them at the interview. The officer took my docs (AR-11) but didn't want the I-865, and just crossed out our old address on the I-751 and wrote in the new one. I also received my 24 month extension letter while waiting for my interview.
  2. Got my interview notice in the mail yesterday- January 5th in Albany. Our AOS interview was in Manhattan. It doesn't really matter for us what field office it is, as they're both 2 hours away. I'm guessing it's not the same office because of case loads. I also just got an email five mins ago saying that they cannot process our change of address AR11 form because I've been scheduled for an interview and to change the address *at* the interview. We sent our change of address forms before we were scheduled, but I guess they didn't get to them until after we were scheduled for the interview. I'm guessing I should just bring new AR11 and I865 forms with us? We haven't received any notification regarding our I865, but my tracking says it was delivered.
  3. Just got an email update that our case has been scheduled for an interview... now we wait for the letter with the date. We sent our AR-11 and I-865 Change of Address forms on November 6th and haven't received a response for either. So, here's hoping that it comes to our new address. We are friends with our old landlords so if it goes to our old house I'm not worried, but still ugh! This interview notice couldn't have come at a worse time for us... but can't do anything about it... pretty bummed tbh. Trying to stay positive!
  4. Hey everybody! In May our file was transferred to the National Benefits Center in MO for processing. This morning (7/1) I got an update saying that our case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. Feeling pretty devastated. We've had the toughest year. And that application was super detailed.. we included everything possible ever. Anyone wanna give me some hopeful thoughts?
