Mine was a hefty two-inch stack. I printed four pages on one page for the bank statements and it still was a lot but fit in a small priority rate box:

That's what I had to do when I spaced out and sent the application to the wrong lockbox. I even tried to re-route it, called the USPS offices and they tried to really help but couldn't stop it. The best way was to just print everything again and mail the application the next day without waiting for the wrong application to be sent back (which came back in a couple of weeks before Covid times). Best of luck with the rest of your journey!

The magic words are "Technical difficulties" and asking for technical support. Although I am not sure a call will be helpful in your case, I do not believe they can amend your application since the lockbox sort of acts independently from the USCIS offices. I think your best bet is now to wait for them to send the application back, and send it with the correct card information. Another option is to send in the same application with the correct card information (which can be costly both money and timewise.) Sorry about your troubles.

Could you tell me how you filed a service request and what you had to mention in it?
I filed in early May 2020 and haven't received any biometric notif at all.
I also moved to houston after filing and it says JUL 2020 as completion estimate.
I called the USCIS number 800-375-5283. I have had to keep saying technical support, technical help etc. to be able to talk to a human. I told them that it has been more than 90 days since my receipt date and I have not heard anything (it had been131 days). She was polite and quick, and told me that she was filing a service request for me. I was notified about biometrics less than 30 days later.
Did you file a change of address with USCIS? The timeline requirements might be different since they will have to move your file to the new field office. Still does not hurt to call and ask.

That's great news! I can only hope I get a similar update soon. it is incredibly frustrating at the same time to see that USCIS continues to service its caseload without any reason or rhyme, let alone process. The ASC was able to schedule an applicant from July 13 and not the applicant from April. Despite the fact that I have filed service requests and have been waiting 14 business day for a Tier 2 call that was supposed to happen within 7 business days. Its just a broken, awful system and I can only wonder what it must be like for people who are in desperate need of their Immigration to process (which thankfully isn't an urgent or emergent matter for me personally).
And here I was bitter that someone I know who lives in Boston, who applied around the same time as I did, was able to get their citizenship and vote in the election in November. We also moved from Boston to Houston, and I knew it meant longer wait times for everything and it is very annoying.
I can only imagine your frustration, best of luck and patience to you!

Hello everyone. I went to my biometrics appointment this morning. My status has changed to Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS, my estimated completion time jumped from Nov 2021 to August 2021. Also my wait time is 6 months, don't know what that means.
Happy New Year! Hope the new year brings lots of good news to everyone!

I had problems with Chrome, Firefox and Edge on a Mac, and finally was able to submit everything using Internet Explorer on a Windows computer. Internet explorer is preferred by USCIS, some people have used Opera and submitted their application successfully. Upload all documents in one sitting and submit the application. Do not upload documents, save and sign out. Make sure any single document does not exceed 6mb. You can also submit documents under Additional/Supplemental Documents section.

There is a spreadsheet people fill out for July 2020 N400 filers. According to that list of out of 15ish people, only 2 people were called in a biometrics appt, all the rest are being reused. I am one of the 2 scheduled for an appt, and I had my biometrics for ROC in December 2019.

Did you have to wait inside for the oath, or could you leave?

So it has been 133 days since my receipt notice. I sent an email through my USCIS account on November 11th, and never heard back, not even a generic reply. Today I called, and thanks to the useful tips on this thread (technical support+technical problems) I was on the phone with a real person in a couple of minutes. The call in total took 10 minutes, the helpful and efficient person on the phone said it has been more than 90 days that my local office has been open and she will file a service request for me. I will update if/when anything happens!
My biometrics appointment was scheduled yesterday! I will have to find out when it is when I get the actual notice in the mail, but the notification in the system says that I should contact them if I do not get it by Jan 3rd, so I am guessing it is in early January.

ok Thank so much for the tip, but I already submitted the application last night so it would before Dec 1.
I was not sure what to do and could not get reply yesterday, so I uploaded last 6 months + 1st month for 2017, 2018, 2019 to show that we have been living together and it would not too many files.
On each statements it shows both of our names, date, our home address, and activity.
Should I upload the remaining bank statements?
Smart move. I believe there is an additional documents section you can upload them to. If you can't, I would not worry about it. If they need them, they will ask for them. I would still download them all from the bank's website though, just in case, sometimes there is a time limit how far back you can go.
Good luck with the wait now!

Does anyone know how many months of bank statements should I include?
I can download the monthly PDF statements from the banks website.
You do not need wills and power of attorneys. You can also add joint lease or mortgage information, joint utility bills showing same address. These are all extras, though, you have covered the basics.
You do need all months of bank statements (since ROC). Download as many as you can from the bank's website.

Filed online application on July 1 and 0 update since, tried calling - never got to talk to rep, only menu options and "goodbye". Decided to email them thru myuscis account and a week later got this
Do I really need to write them an actual letter?
Thank you
You don't have to write them a letter, unless you really need this "specific information".

My case completion time jumped from Oct 2021 to April 2022. Ugh.

Online is faster- you get the NOA1 same or next day while if you filed by mail your package still would be in transit.
I was talking about the speed of the whole process. Getting your NOA1 in one day or five days does not matter when your local office is taking a year to process applications.
-
Make sure to use Internet Explorer as your browser if you want online filing to go smoothly. If you have to use another browser, be ready to submit all your documents at once and without signing out in between documents. Even then it is a crapshoot.
A single document cannot be larger than 6MB.
I would have done mail if it wasn't for COVID-19, you have much more control over the process and organization of your documents.
Online or by mail does not affect the speed of the process, that is determined by local office.

The picture looks to me like it is from the official USCIS website, so that's why I said it must be correct. There might be delays, and they will show those on the website as well, it is kind of a moving target. Mine showed 12 months when I first submitted it, then changed to 14 months a couple of weeks later.

I have a pending i-751 and I want to abandon my GC. Can I file I-407 while in the US? How long do I have to leave after filing?

My understanding from reading this page and the instructions, is that you need to file it from outside the US. So you can leave and mail your documents from Australia. I would take a close look at the IRS requirements linked at the bottom of the page to tie up loose ends before leaving.
