Got my interview today! The officer said the visa was approved, very exciting news after a long long wait. Now checking the CEAC visa status like a maniac  

Visa was issued today! Thank God!!! 
Big thank you to everyone in this forum for describing your experiences and updating your timelines so that I knew what to expect every step of the way from NVC processing to interview. 
 
You guys are incredible and I pray for easy, pain-free process for everyone. Hang in there!

My husband had his interview yesterday in Warsaw Poland, and he was approved! I attended the interview with him as did our two young children. I was really hesitant about taking kids (age 4 and 6) to the embassy but in the end it was worth it because we were taken to the front of the outside the embassy when we were waiting to get in and go to security. We were able to skip a queue of about 25 people. They were super relaxed in the embassy. Way different than I was anticipating! We were in and out with out within an hour and 15 minutes!

WAIT!! there is an age difference between you and your fiance of 37 years???
 
I am sorry, but it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY your going to get a visa to USA 
 
even if she came to live with you and you got married the chances of you getting a visa to USA is like .05%
 
she is old enough to be your mother, and that is not the cultural norm in Egypt.
if she has kids and more so if she has a daughter, that is closer to your age, not going to happen.
 
there was a couple that were married she is older than her husband and she has a daughter closer to her husband's age then she is and they were refused, and sent back to NVC for NOIR.
 
your not married, and they were, I would expect in your case that it will be left to sit at embassy for a long time before it is then sent back for refusal, were it will be left to die out.
 
like I said even if she comes to live in Egypt for several years and you are married the chances of immigrating into USA or very low. 

I read your previous posts from June and July and I'm a little confused. In July you said you were pregnant and had just gotten married to your fiance, but in this thread you state you got married in August. Also, you said your husband spent your "immigration" money. This doesn't sound like you  came here just to visit your aunt, but to husband shop.
 
I'm sorry that it hasn't worked out the way you envisioned it would, but you can always go back to your country. Maybe you could ask family to help you with the cost of the plane ticket? I'm sure your aunt would be willing to help you out of a bad situation. You are currently accruing overstay of your B visa and since you haven't filed AOS you are out of status with no legal standing. I don't think VAWA applies to you because you have no status. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Your best choice is to go back to your country, file divorce and start again.

I might have some insight into this. I just had my interview at the Brussels embassy today (pivot case, so everything uploaded on CEAC) and the officer apologised that it would take a bit long because I was their test subject since there's a brand new system that they've never used before.
 
So I think they're revamping the system.

Yeah I don't understand why they requested the other form. But now they have both so hopefully that will be good lol. Thanks and I wish you guys good luck too

It doesn’t matter what your degree or job is. They don’t care.

Doesn’t matter

1)  In addition to the form W-7 you will need to provide the proper documentation which in many cases is your passport
2)  1040X
3)  If you don't have a form then you cannot provide something that doesn't exost
4)  You are not inside the USA so I don't think you would be subject to the healthcare coverage fine
5)  She may want to have a consultation with a qualified tax accountant
