true I agree - my friend went through a k3 visa (she was married prior to moving to the usa) and it took them over one year to get their interview.. I know those usually take a bit longer.. but her case was complicated 4 kids with a diff dad.. but she had a lawyer and no RFE's so everything went smooth.    so I completely agree with you.

A normal case yes...but there are more complicated cases too that take a lot more time like people that fiance is in jail or they have different sponsor that take some time to look into and get background check.. but I'm sure there is something else that's causing delay..we had it a few months back too when more than 3000 student asked for visa and got handled first above all others.

ALL - I wouldn't rely on the "timeline" first off some people don't update theirs, second some people update theirs wrong, third not everyone who applied for a K1 visa is on this website (huge amount are not) and 4th some people expedite their K1 visa application (marines/military etc) are you are also compared to those people.. so in my mind its nice to see they touched march but I wouldn't expect anything in regards to the dates.. I am already 2 weeks past the "expected timeline date" for NOA2.    This site would be great if they separated expedited cases with regular cases.
 
 @BlackBirdRN  I would not worry too much about getting and RFE - at least you know they touched your case! it looks like a lot of people are getting approved pretty quick after RFE! goodluck! let us know what RFE you got ! keep us in the loop  

Yeah I know.
But you gotta think, there's about 4000 petitions for March, how many people are active on here, active in the March thread? A tiny bit... so to me it seems - unless all of USCIS laid down work - like it does a loop around our sweet people here.
Or ... and I hope it's not, but it's what filers have to consider: Processing time went back to "normal" = 5 months according to USCIS. 
Someone wrote on another thread: "Be ready for 5 months, be happy if it's 3".

Something is weird. I'm so sorry for all those who are waiting for so long.

I might be wrong but I think one person get like 20 cases to work on. And if they started on a big case it take them a while till next so the other cases just stay there.... waiting..where someone else already went through like 10 cases.. that's why you sometimes get the date gaps.... it's a silly way but I know from admin work that it's done like that..

But so many cases of people not receiving their NOA2, also reporting that here, maybe the person reviewing our box is really slow lol

There's our NOA2 in the pic, and it has notice date from 3 weeks ago.
I have doubts people are updating their timelines right, or at all. 
Can't be correct there's no approval since then, unless the weird case happened and only non-VJers got approved.
 

If i should believe the  Updates from March  then they are working on cases   21 st and  22    so  you should be   getting  news  soon.

Yes you need your  WAC number and  get asked  question like   bday   ..

we never got an email ... we had to call and   get the  case number,  My fiance called after work time around  5pm and was on hold for like  20 min

Yeah, still no NVC number. I hope Scott will receive the email by the end of this week. Our NOA2 is dated with June 23rd, so it should be due! 
I hope... told my boss already: Once I have the number, next day I'll be off work, racing to Frankfurt!

I totally understand the paranoia also. My fiance had TB several years back when he was in school...he went through many months of treatment and made a full recovery. But I'm worried it will come up as scarring or something on his chest x-ray and prompt further testing. Fingers crossed it will go through smoothly for all of us!!

I do smoke and am paranoided out by this. I just want it to be done. After the medical I can finally look forward.

Nothing to hide so should be  fine.  But with cancer history in family   x ray  always bothers me.  Even if i feel fine it will always worry me  that something will show  up there.   I dont smoke so i know my  lungs should be  ok.. But  still      I just want it over and done with so i can be  possitive about it  all.
My kids want to go so bad .. they packed  all of there toys  allready  haha

Same here. I'm paranoid for the lung xray.
I don't care so much about the rest; that'll happen and be fine sooner or later. But medical... As soon as I have the number and run there the day after, just to have these rocks off my shoulders.
