  1. Thanks

They forward the medical to the embassy in Manila. Lowers the risk of shenanigans. 😉 The sealed envelope may or may not come after visa approval. Depending on if your one of the lucky ones that gets a digital record.

Maybe this post from the India subforum about K-1 interview scheduling will help:

Don’t you think that lawyer could possibly have been referring to interview wait times for that consulate…..?

Income must be proven by the listed formats in the instructions.

Because your taxable income as reported on your 2022 Tax transcript didn't meet the FPGLs, you'll need to provide proof in the manner of an employment verification letter and 6 months of paystubs (so getting a job now isnt gonna cut it) or other means if self employed (however that would be proven by your tax transcript). You have been very vague with your employment info so that's all I can provide on that front.

If you don't have proof of employment, you can use assets however they will need to meet 3 times the FPGLs. How do you plan to prove you've had 3 times the FPGLs stashed away in crypto assets and that amount has been there for a year? Ie. Somebody didn't give you the money to deposit yesterday and you are sending it all back to them tomorrow).
Assets are hard to prove never mind crypto currency. If they were cash in the bank, you'd need to provide a statement from the bank stating the conditions  and history of your savings.
Are you able to retrieve that from somewhere/someone as concrete proof?

The I864 is more important than you think and should not be taken lightly.
You will not pass go if your I864 is not filled out properly and the amounts within it must match the VALID proofs exactly. They do not do math for you.
PS. The tax return rolls over to 2023 tomorrow so if your tax transcript shows you met the FPGLs NOW, you can now use that instead of 2022. Your RFE may have even requested that. Look carefully.
PSS. Although a JS seems to be your only option, your form still must be complete and correct regarding your info.

I really don't see any need to attach social media posts to the pictures.  Annotating the pictures , imo, is fine.

You will need a lawyer, but how did you not know you were divorced?,  Didnt your husband have to go to court for the  approval of the divorce by the Judge & signing of final divorce decree?

From your description, everything seems to be normal.  NVC will not send you anything except an email when they send your case to Brazil.  All you can do is wait for them to send it.  Since your fiancée already got your case number, there is no need to contact NVC for anything now.

It says "if applicable". If you think you'd benefit from having a lawyer, I believe you can still hire one to go with you to the interview. Make sure to bring spouse and more evidence.

Carpe Vinum reacted to Family in Court refuses to issue a no-record statement letter
Based on quick ,  MPO do not get lodged through any court systems . The Commander  handles the case with support from FAP /Family Advocacy Program of the base .

It sounds like your fiancé had either a spouse or girlfriend that filed domestic violence complaint . The protective order was issued for a short period and lifted later . ..for a variety of reasons, no longer needed..etc

    He should ;
    1. Write a  VERY short account of event . Add strong statement to support his upstanding character and all around Good Guy .

    2. Do his own FBI prints to show otherwise clean record

    3. Order certified records from the State Court ..It will show NO RECORD
    ‘Example  https://www.browardclerk.org/PDF/Request_for_Court_Records.pdf
    4. Write to the relevant FAP and  request copy MPO dismissal and or request to forward to Base Custodian Of Record.
Whatever they respond , should suffice . ..if they don’t respond, you just need to show you sent request.

Has he actually had his medical yet? Any missing vaccines can be given there, we each had a couple given to us last summer when we had ours (different ones for each of us).

That is not correct.  They would come via immigrant visas (IR-5).  Upon entry into the US, they automatically become Green Card holders IMMEDIATELY.  They can then immediately exit the country and re=enter as Green Card holders.

Carpe Vinum reacted to Crazy Cat in Seeking Advice: Reapplying for K1 Visa After Short Stay, Need Guidance on Waiver and Next Steps
The previous K-1 will, likely, raise a couple questions. So, if you are truly committed, why waste time with another K-1?  Marry via a Utah online marriage, then meet, then US spouse can file an I-130 to start the CR-1 visa process.  Just a suggestion.  Per other VJ members, the  average processing time between a K-1 and a CR-1 is only about a month.

Every couple has their own priorities, and each couple must decide which visa is better for their situation.
    K-1
      More expensive than CR-1
Requires Adjustment of Status after marriage (expensive and requires a lot of paperwork)
Spouse can not leave the US until she/he receives approved Advance Parole (approx 3-6 months)
Spouse can not work until she/he receives EAD (approx 3-6 months)
Some people have had problems with driver licenses, Social Security cards, leases, bank account during this period
Spouse will not receive Green Card for many months after Adjustment of Status is filed.
A K-1 might be a better choice when 18-21 year old children are immigrating also
In some situations, marriage can affect certain Home country benefits, making a K-1 a better choice
A denied K-1 is sent back to USCIS to expire
K-1 entrant cannot file for citizenship until after having Green Card for 3 years.
Once an I-129F has been approved, delaying the case is difficult to impossible if the need arises.

    CR-1/IR-1
      Less expensive than K-1
      No Adjustment of Status(I-485, I-131, I-765) required.
Spouse can immediately travel outside the US
Spouse is authorized to work immediately upon arrival.
Spouse receives Social Security Card and Green Card within 2 or 3 weeks after entering the US
Opening a bank account, getting a driver's license, etc. are very easily accomplished with GC, SS card, and passport.
Spouse has legal permanent Resident status IMMEDIATELY upon entry to US.
The clock for citizenship filing starts immediately upon entry to the US.
A CR-1/IR-1 case can be delayed indefinitely at NVC if the need arises.

They might not… USCIS might be confused by your actions. Have you considered requesting the 10 year GC first THEN canceling the N400 application?
Another avenue could be to reschedule your oath if you get scheduled for it. I think if you reschedule twice they deem the N400 abandoned? Not sure… but personally I would try to get the 10 year GC before canceling N400.

My wife just received her 10 year Green Card March 15. We filed in Sept. 2021. Comparing her cases with others this seems to be the new normal. Maybe you will get lucky but expect a longer wait. File for your N-400 if you are eligible. It might push the process along.
