I have not heard anything. My case still pending since last year....

I just want to keep you guys posted that I received EAD card in mail and went to SSA office right away yesterday. They let me apply for the SSN card even my new last name has not been updated in their system yet. They said it will take about 2 weeks to get the card.

My EAD card has been approved just yesterday. I have not received EAD card yet but I wonder if I can go ahead to apply for SSN card before I got EAD card in mail ?

I went to infopass and have BIO for EAD yesterday. Found out that my EAD got approved since Nov 29 but waiting for Bio. Unfortunately no luck for AOS,still pending and they dont know why it's pending. The officer at infopass told me that usually they take 2 years to get an approval for AOS application.

Oh well,at least I have EAD...

Nothing for me yet besides I have applied for EAD last month... Bio will have to be done again for EAD application on Dec 18.

I have Quick question.

I am in Minnesota. The I-765 appliation should be sent to Chicago lockbox as last time that I-485 has been sent or to USCIS@Nebraska? Might be stupid question but I just want to make sure since I dont really want to screw up with them...

I called missinfo line last week about my status and I just got the letter from USCIS today telling me that my case is still processing and I have to wait another 6 months & please call back to missinfo line if I have not heard anything after 6 months from now.

That's TERRIBLE!!!

I am thinking about applying EAD. Do I have to do another Bio?

Any update anyone? Mine still nothing. Last touch still the same since May 21.

I plan to go to Chicago with my hubby next month just for travel BUT I am still waiting for AOS approval. My I-94 already expried long time ago since March 07. Is it going to be a problem??
