Yes, you are such a gem and your wife might not realize that you were the one who created this thread so we can all start posting about our SO. You're also a real gem for being one of the few men to participate in this thread.

I thought this is "The Say Anything Thread."
Just go spam this thread with photos. Don't people say that you say it best when you say nothing at all?

Then post the time every 5 minutes or so.

I think that this was a gut retching decision either way. I can see the hope that the baby would have some kind of a chance, perhaps things wouldn't be as bad as the doctors thought. Of course in this case it was even worse. I wouldn't condemn the woman for having the baby. I think she was doing what her heart told her to, and choosing life doesn't make her an evil person. But then again, I have to wonder about a person doing this soley for money too.
I can also see that it looked like overwhelming medical odds against the baby having any kind of life at all, even if it survived. I would hope that a choice to terminate wouldn't have been made lightly. In a case like this the whole surrogate/legal agreement became a nightmare for two well intending parties.

Fat chance of that. Unless posting Welcome to VJ and ConGraTuLaTions a hundred times a day counts.

Not true. I personally remember them saying that same day that they announced it that it's going to pay debts to the electric company. And again, it's not only the Arab neighborhoods of east Jerusalem that owe money to the east Jerusalem electric company, but also unpaid debts from the Ramallah, Bethlehem and Jericho areas, which Israel does not control.
I didn't post anything cause like I said it's in Hebrew...

Did you read my last sentence before you thought to ask me if I read what I posted? And no, it's not keeping 400 million, not anymore...
The East Jerusalem Electric company owes 450 million out of 750 million, that's still 300 million that they owe even without that. And, even though it's an East Jerusalem electric company, it supplies electricity to more than the Israeli controlled neighborhoods of east Jerusalem. It supplies electricity to a total of a million people, including in Ramallah, Bethlehem and Jericho. It does not supply electricity to the Nablus, Hebron or Jenin area.
Also, off topic but it's a topic we've discussed before, if you don't know Hebrew have your husband translate it or something...worth a read:

While I disagreed with witholding the funds, I also disagree with two things you've written.
    1. Israel does NOT want another intifiada.
    2. Actually, the money isn't really the PA's, being the PA owes money to Israel's government owned Electric company.

Yes, they are. But you should disabuse yourself of the illusion that Australia is all angels when it comes to deploying drones.
In other news, Australia moves to buy $3b spy drone fleet.
And let's not forget the large numbers of refugees the US accommodates each and every year - close to 100,000. Now what?

The Muslim terrorists in the OP suck.
The drone deflection argument sucks as either a justification of the bombing in the OP which was an amazing thing to be proffered, or as anything even remotely as reprehensible as the bombing in the OP.
You seem to be an intelligent person but you can't seem to see the transparent holes in your one sided comments. Not the least of which is the total lack of acknowledgement of who are the intended targets for drone strikes, and why there's a reason for drone strikes in the first place.

####### happens in armed conflicts. If the VJ resident anti-US contingent wants us all to believe that the world would be a magical land of sugarlpums and peace if only Israel and the USA could see the beauty of Islamic Radicalism and its peaceful intentions, and just allow them to kill whomever they want, because after all these people are only doing what they do because Israel and the USA are so awful, I have some nice bridges for sale.

You're stuck in your own personal memes there wife.
    1) American foreign policy is not the issue at hand in the OP.
    2) Muslims driving bomb trucks deliberately into an area filled with children, deliberately and with malicious intention to kill and maim them is roughly as bad as anything anyone can do. I defy anyone to come up with a worse or more despicable action. And the children deliberately targeted were Muslims. Morally indefensible.
    3) It's not OK to #### up, however it is also not a deliberate act like the one outlined in the OP.
Spare us all your self righteous piety and admit the obvious.

It's simply amazing to see the attempts to argue drone attacks are the problem while trying and failing to discuss the unavoidable pesky detail of deliberate Muslim on Muslim violence. The key difference being deliberate.
Fertilizer bomb trucks deliberately driven and blown up where children are, with deliberate intent to kill and maim said children is hardly in the same morally reprehensible category as drone strikes hitting the wrong target or accidentally killing both the intended recipient and those around them, and is virtually unrelated to the topic at hand yet the dissembling goes on and on.
